Both Phoenix Fire Department's old and new Engine 910 are seen responding in this video.
The old Engine 910 is a 2006 American LaFrance Eagle.
The new Engine 910 is a 2021 Pierce Impel.

So are the engines numbered in the 900s reserve? Or are they staffed?

The 900 engines are staffed, and they do have front line rigs. The way you can tell if a unit is reserve or not is if they have a white removeable number plate on each side, rather than the golden number decal.

@@vfr_az So as an example. Engine 20 and engine 920 are both staffed then? Or is one the reserve for the other?

@@jefforr439 Yep, they would both be staffed. I do believe when it comes to Phoenix's rescues, 900 rescues are overtime rigs so they aren't always staffed. However, with engines, as far as I know, the 900 engines are fully staffed.

@@vfr_az thanks. I don't know anything about depts out there. Do you know what the staffing is? 4 or 5 ppl per rig?
