In today's video, it's another beet harvest disaster as we go from one problem to the next. The weather has not been on our side and the field is way too wet. The harvester is working like a dream for what we could get pulled but the field just doesn't play ball and Father Phil bogs her. Also a wishing all of you a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2023! There's a short drone compilation at the end of the year gone by! Can't believe how quickly this year flew by!

I don’t mean to say I told you so but you should have hired somebody to pull that when ground was dry and it would have been a lot cheaper , but it is good entertainment for your channel , you might not be able to pull it with the armour harvester now because the tops will rot away after the heavy frost , Tyregod is the job then , ( cow farmer Dan ) to the rescue 😂

2023 will be better. Getting the beet harvester going was kid of a sunk cost this year. It'll pay off in the future as you get more experience with the process which will lead to higher yields with your cattle. With the wedding and everything else you did last year, I'd still count it as a win.

Happy new year Stewart family, after the year you’ve had I’d see the beat as just a minor blip. The achievements you’ve had as a family and shear amount of work between farm family and RU-vid you’ve done this year is immense and you should be proud of that don’t dwell on one small negative occurrence when you’ve had so many positive ones this year

Phil I had a neighbour pass away during the year from pulling a tractor with a chain , so if you have a bit of change lying around you should invest in a proper tow rope as I’d say you will be getting stuck agains going by the weather

You'll find in life that there will always be something else "important" workwise when you decide to go on holidays or plan in some downtime with family/Friends. It's a fact of life. If the place rang like a clock without you being there then there would be something wrong. Take the time to relax and enjoy yourself when you can and don't get yourself down about taking that time. You'll have loads to these hurdles to overcome through life. Put it down to experiance. Onwards and upwards. Hindsight is 20/20 vision.

great job on getting the beat harvester going but i would happily watch another 100 beat pullin videos. I grew up around a big sugar beet area and spent my childhood pullin beat with the local farmers . I would love to see the sugar beet industry come back to Ireland. keep up the great work with the video's . Happy New Year to the Farmer Phil family

Happy New year to all the Stewart family don't BEET yourself up the weather will come its just a waiting game. It happens all year if it's silage,corn,slurry and even just letting out the calves to grass the first time it's just the 1 thing we can't control so it's easier to laugh about it than let it bother ya. The work will be done keep d faith thanks for d hours of entertainment this year ive never missed a video on the day you upload them and at time we chat in d pub about ye and yer hard work as a family and Robert as well

Phil, if you have to plough out the beet with the MF35 and one body on the Ferguson plough… it’ll be a bit of work to gather and crown it by hand but you’ll get it out of the field and into the bulls. Happy New Year.
