The Hosts of the Trinisphere converted the Ravnica Allegiance Guild Kits into budget EDH decklists! The rules were simple: Run a Commander and one of every card from your Guild Kit, and any additional cards are under $1 each!
Timmy dives into this aristocrats token-centric build that trades corpses for value. The Orzhov Guild Kit features the versatile Teysa, Orzhov Scion and her menagerie of spirit tokens. Can this deck sacrifice enough creatures to drain the life out of its opponents?

Hey i've loved these upgrade videos! I got a Orzhov guild kit myself and been wanting to get into EDH. Just a question though, as I'm pretty new to mtg as a whole, would Darkest Hour be a good card for this deck? (im unsure how it works though, would the white spirit tokens be white+black or only black? It seems very op and easy to go infinite with the commander)

Darkest hour is insane in this deck! The best version of this deck needs only resolve that card and the game is over in a heartbeat! But yes, your right. You can infinitely exile opponents creatures because your creatures are all black, so when you sac then they make new tokens, per Teysa's second ability. Pair this with altar of dementia to mill every to death!

I personally have a fully tuned version of this deck and darkest hour will win you the game on the spot most of the time with any sacrifice outlet and a blood artist or blasting station the deck can be very fast and is load of fun

with darkest hour every creature on the battlefield is black only, not black and white. you can go infinite with sac cards like blasting station!

I just got the guild kit, seems neat. Thank you very much for the helpful video, probably gonna get some of these cards at my gamestore. Just curious, do you think that ajani's welcome would work here?

Ajani's Welcome seems like a fun add and synergizes with token creation to gain you lots of life, but lifegain without a payout like Aetherflux Reservoir or Sanguine Bond will end up costing you a card without greatly affecting your lines to victory!

I bought this Kit. I thought I could play it in Standard, but I can't, since the Guild cards are not legal. What should I do? Should I change those cards and add some legal ones? Did I spend my money in a bad way? I know I can play Modern and Casual. I don't play at tournaments either, but it gets me a bad feeling not being able to play Standard. Help :(

No you didn't waste your money in a bad way this is actually one of the best products in terms of value. If you don't want the deck sell the cards and win some money. For more info watch the TOLARIAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE video.
