Hello, i have plan to use train to hatyai. My train will arrive at padang besar arround 16.18 and last minivan from padang besar at 18.00. I am curious about duration of immigration check for both countries. Do they have more than an hour to give stamp?
Hello there. The immigration for both Malaysia and Thailand are within the Padang Besar train station, so you don't need to step out from the station to head to the other immigration office meant for vehicles arrival. Arrival at 16.18 would probably still allow you time to clear the immigration with the shuttle train that departs at 16.40. It's usually not too long to get your passport stamped unless during long holidays or school holiday season. Nevertheless, if you missed this one, you could still ride on the last train to Hatyai at 18.00.
Dear Kidtan, I have just subscribed to your channel after watching your video. I enjoy watching your video on your trip from Padang Besar to Hatyai. I will be travelling to Hatyai from KL Central to Padang Besar very soon with 9 senior citizens, I hope you can confirm the following: At the Padang Besar Imigration do we need to: 1. Scan QR code ? 2. Upload covid certificate or show our covid certificates? 3. Show our mysejahtera app ? Or just show our passports ? We are first time travelling on our own to Hatyai via Padang Besar. Thank you so much for your simple yet informative video.
Hello Lee. All 3 requirements no longer required. Just present your passport and get it stamped and you are ready to go. Thank you for liking the train journey video and also appreciate very much for subscribing my channel. Hi Kidtan I'm taking the ets at 7pm probably reach pb at 12.30pm ,how long does the clearance take from msian to Thai immigration .and can I catch the train in time
Hello Anand. Hope you are doing well and good. The immigration clearance will depend very much on your travel day of which weekends and public holidays in both countries may result in longer queue. But I believe the immigration office and the train will cooperate to ensure all passengers and travellers would not miss the train journey. Hope you have an enjoyable vacation in Thailand and a pleasant as well as memorable train experience. Please subscribe to my channel for notification on more upcoming videos. Thank you for your support and also appreciate your view.
Hello Leon, from my observations at the Padang Besar train station, you can purchase the minivan ticket at the counter right at the train station passengers lobby after exiting from the arrival platform. Hope that helps. Please subscribe to my channel for notifications of more of my upcoming videos. Thank you for your comments and support. Your kindness is highly appreciated.🙏🙏🙏
From Hatyai can take Shutter train to Padang BESAR. If I take the 2pm train from Hatyai do I have enough time to clear immigration and custom In Padang BESAR to catch the connecting ETS train to KL Central at 4.45pm? Thanks
You should have sufficient time to catch the 4.45pm Padang Besar to KL Sentral train departing from Hatyai at 2pm. It takes about 55 minutes to reach Padang Besar from Hatyai with the shuttle train. Unless if its school holiday season or extended public holiday time, you should be able to clear from immigration very quickly.
Hi Budrol. No requirements for anything apart from your passport. Thank you for watching and subscribing. Please continue to support by watching the upcoming videos.
That notice was an old piece of requirement which has been lifted since last year 2022 some time in May if i remember correctly. My video was filmed back in April 2023.
Hi Sharon. The Thai embarkation card can be obtained from the SRT ticket counter (Thai train) at the Padang Beaar train station. Please subscribe to my channel if you have not subscribed Sharon. Thank you for your support.
You can take train number 45 from Krungthep Aphiwat Grand Station departing at 3.35pm to Padang Besar. This is a direct Bangkok-Padang Beaar train without the need to take the shuttle train. Hope this information helps.
Oh sorry Dino. You can take the shuttle van which cost MYR30 per person from Hatyai to Padang Besar if you choose not to travel with the shuttle train. Not sure about paying with THB.
