Kick ass idea. I bet you’ll get some additional heat from being underground partially too. And what a awesome design reminds off a Viking ship or something. Great repurpose!
Thanks! so far it has helped to keep it above freezing with mid 50s in the day with help from axtra plastic a small heater and a few lights and on really cold nights a small potbelly stove :) update coming soon
Looking forward to see how it’s going. We have an old pool that’s been there as long as I have been alive. Can’t believe we never thought of this. Getting the dirt in our pool might be an issue.
Hope the tapcons can hold it well enough. Shouldn’t be wind that would be pulling up that much. Everything sort of helps to hold all the other pieces in place.
@@danwiitala7233 I wasn't referring to wind - i meant more like how does it stop from popping out of the ground like pools do when you leave them empty
I've got a old unground pool at the house I just bought and I'm trying to figure out if I should repurpose the pool or do this, I love growing things, but it's also fun to swim..... But how cool would it be to turn an old pool into a revenue stream especially if WV makes recreational cannabis legal..... I've been racking my brain to either redo the pool which is 5ft unground and build a high tunnel or just turn the pool into a greenhouse I paid cash for the property and I own it outright but imagine how much I could make from 1 run of Mary Jane 🤤🤤🤤😂😁🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏻 and did I mention that I live way up a holler in BFE lol way off the grid like litteraly..... Decisions decisions what would you choose if you could do it over again?
