Marguerite Alibert’s story is one of gritty survival followed by a lucrative life of sex work. Alibert was a formidable woman who pulled herself up from a world of poverty to mingle among France’s elite, accomplishing her goal of turning affairs into large sums of money in the process.
Marguerite is also commonly remembered as Maggie Meller, a surname she took from the man she claimed was her husband at 17. Meller was one of four different surnames she would use throughout her exotic and exciting life.

A Little Mia, if you do enjoy this kind of material, I suggest you do as samm skeleton suggested and give Obsolete Oddity a try. His research and artistry are excellent, and while some of the same stories are inevitably covered by multiple content creators, he has never appropriated anyone else’s hard work and put his name to it. There is certainly room for multiple channels covering similar stories, and I applaud their efforts...IF what they produce is their own original work. 🖤🇨🇦

You almost can’t blame her given the fact that everyone in her early life treated her terribly and ultimately abandoned her. It was either do what she did, or both her and her daughter die on the streets🤷🏼‍♀️ definitely not condoning murder though.

A very astute woman in a world ruled by men (then). She played the game! By the way, one of the photos is of Blanche Monnier, not Ms. Ailbert

I've just commented saying the pic at 25 seconds is supposed to be Blanche Monnier! I've been scrolling through to see if anyone else said the same thing. I'm not totally convinced it is Blanche as it looks very different from other pics I've seen of her from before being locked up but it's definitely used in all the videos about her
@meagancooper4551

that picture that you've shown when talking about her is, instead, a photo of the socialite blanche monnier, whose family locked her in an attic for 25 years for daring to fall in love with someone "unsuitable," the opposite of marguerite alibert. in a way, this could be the only way she could enrage them more, so good on you.

Yup!! Look at what the Royals did to Princess Diana and company were killed. Oh? Yeah, it was a 'car crash' in a tunnel where NO CAMMARS worked that night and after the Royals had, had Diana's car for three days putting a tracking divice on it. Amazing how it took forever for an ambulance to show up at the tunnel when the hospital was 10 min away. Also that it took almost 2 hrs to get to the hospital and then the 'ambulance' parked across the street from the hospital...no one going out or coming into the ambulance and THEN they bring in the now dead Princess Diana. The back seatbelts in her car were also disabled...You can clearly see Diana turned around looking at the car behind them (The cammras WERE working that night in the tunnel, where'd that picture come from if they HADDN'T BEEN WORKING?) who probably did a pit maneuver which crashed the car & the Royals ordered the car cut up to cover the fact up that the car was not badly damaged. In the Queen's in courthouse the ruleing was a 'car accident'. They blamed it all on the poor press who were way back BEHIND & not near the car went it entered the tunnel. Diana also stated that the Royals were planning to kill her and would use a car to do it. Those are the facts. Yup!! Step on the wrong toes...if you do don't go to Paris or in tunnels.😎 Why does the American goverment pay Queen Elizabeth FORTY MILLION A YEAR FROM OUR SOCIAL SECURITY AND SHE'S JUST NOW PAYING TAXES ON IT ???!!!!!

Who knows the Prince may not have wanted her harmed even under the circumstances. Sometimes the feelings you get when younger can stick with you leaving a soft spot for certain people. I am not friends with my ex, I probably wouldn't even wave at him if I saw him on the street but would I want him murdered? No.
