I have watched every single proposal on youtube and this is in my top favorites...I love that she DIDN'T SAY "Oh I look terrible" and wasn't immediately thinking of herself, but of how overjoyed she was to see her guy! She even cries pretty....

I live in Hawaii and my boyfriend lives in Spain. I love him so much and travelling to see him is so expensive. Hopefully we'll be able to be together permanently soon ❤
Thanks Emeline, glad you liked it :) I came to the USA to work for a few months at a kids summer camp. We worked together in the kitchen. Then we travelled back and forth to visit each other until last year

How did you do it for 2 years? What made you both survived for 2 years, apart from love of course, was it because of the life commitments each of you have? +simarvld When we met at camp we were both still at university. So we took every summer/christmas/spring break opportunity and spent as much time together as possible. I also skipped some classes if I felt I had a good grip on the subject and spent a few days there ... With your boyfriend having work it will be harder because you wont have the long holidays we had, although some long weekends spaced out could help ease the pain of waiting... Having a flight booked as soon as possible and being able to countdown really helped me... I wish I could give a definitive tip but I'm not even sure what it was that kept us going... Trust maybe, I never trusted anybody as much before... And always having a plan/making a plan for the next trip... Thank you for your kind comment. Her mother was saying to me she hoped she would find out who it was first haha. And we still joke about it now. I did even mention I hoped she opened the door in the video. She doesnt have a full explanation why she didnt check. She lived in Baltimore previously and would never have done that. We think its just the context. Her landlord is often around and her neighbours are all very nice and its a small safe town. The mail man leaves packages on the front porch, my bike often lies unchained outside... Maybe it was just my luck at that moment that she didn't check :)
