I almost stopped during the mother-daughter scene in episode 1. That was just poor writing. The mom just stood there. But gave it a chance. Gave up on episode 3.

I absolutely LOVE shows like this and this show I'm beyond addicted to...I get sad when the episode is over because I can't wait a whole week for the next...I hope this show has many seasons but even more important..the storyline doesn't go off the rails like some shows go..start out strong and then boom..storyline is absurd..so far this is my number 1 show..absolutely great story

I’m almost done with season 1 and I am IN LOVE. I’ve been obsessed with this show since episode 1. The “Lost” vibes are so good. It’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for all these years later after watching Lost back in early 2000s. Just watch it. It’s amazing and deserves so much hype

A lot of the characters at the very least get ONE interaction with each other through the show, and it makes for some really horrifying scenes once said character dies, and the other one just kind of has to deal with it.

@@AirForceKrissy to be fair a lot of bad or mid tier shows have a 7.8 rating. I usually consider watching series that have an extremely high rating and are considered "classics", like the sopranos, Wesworld or even the expanse. And yes of course game of thrones as well

It’s very good show! Absolutely love it! It’s like a mix between the walking dead (character wise) and 30 days of night (in reference to creatures). I’ve been waiting for a long time for a show like this to release, the vibes are lit and it’s a scary thought to believe that you could ever be in this scenario. Also love the character choices, the sheriff is my dude!

Ok for everyone who just find this series and wants to start watching it like me: im currently at season 1 ep 6. So far its a well made and good series. Ofc, the show didnt answered me yet any question, but it gives me "Lost" vibes. Its really good, but so far, it slows very much down from episode to episode. A lot of talking and you didnt see any monsters after the 2nd episode. But the story held more mysterys to it, than just monsters. But i do feel that its still a horror series, so it needs more interactions with monsters. Its very slow paced in troughout the 6 episodes i watched so far. But the scenes with the monster are really creepy, which i didnt expect and its extremely brutal, which you need to consider, before you decide to watch it. I rank it (so far) 7,5/10. Might go slightly higher when i finish season 1 So there is room for improvements.

From a technical standpoint it's bad and not only because of the acting. I cannot believe the critics have given it such a high score.
