Everyone’s keeping secrets and letting people die as a result. Sharing all the info they have with each other and brainstorming would have been a better use of their time than everyone doing their own thing and keeping quiet

Its a tv show, therefore everybody as a rule must have a room temperature iq. Main reason why I dislike certain tv shows, when they artificially make everyone stupid for no reason to make "drama" happen instead of doing it in a clever, believable way

They wouldn’t have survived through the night tho, they would have tried to leave and ended up back in the town. But that time, it would have been night time and they would have all died

Ignore the other two replies. They probably only watched the recap. You see the reason why they have to lock newcomers up is because they pose a threat to everyone not just themselves. They end up speeding around the street causing car accidents and might end up running down someone or crashing into someone’s house. Even if they walk they could still breach windows and doors which will allow the mimics to enter right after them. Basically a hysterical newcomer could end up causing the death of dozens of people.

This feels like they have no endgame in sight. They just keep adding even more confusing elements instead of actually pursuimg an actual explanation/ending.

Sadly that’s how the show Preacher got ruined. The first season was absolutely amazing but slowly devolved into shit. They had so much awesome things set up but couldn’t follow through

@@francisoffilth7953 thats the same as "Under the Dome" tge first season is quite intriguing, but as more season progress, it just went downhill to some pile of jokes, HECK EVEN AT THE START OF THE SECOND SEASON THEY KILLED ONE OF THE IMPACTFUL CHARACTHER IN SEASON 1 WITHOUT ANY REASON

The thing I don’t understand is why those people don’t set up traps for the ghouls. Like, they can’t enter the house and actually you can manipulate them quite easily because they slowly approach the houses. I would take my revenge and spent all day preparing every sort of trap I can think off and put all my efforts into killing them. Like, the villagers are the ones with advantage of safe houses. The ghouls are “trapped outside” and they always roam around the houses.

I was thinking the same thing 😂 im guessing based on the fact that they found goats in the forests, and can grow potatos for alcohol, that they have some sort of agricultural system going.

That’s exactly what the fuck they’re going. I binged both seasons thus far, fully invested, and there is no clear direction or explanation the writers are trying to follow. They’re obviously just making shit up at this point.

After 2 seasons I have no clue what is going on. Nothing gets revealed or answered. You watch from one cliff hanger to the next. Quite frustrating..

Why not make holes at front doors during the day time? Monsters come out and step on the trapdoor and are trapped in a hole. They’ll either stop coming to the door or all end up in a hole. Win-win

Thank you for this! Once I heard S2 had the same pacing/tedious dialogue/too much fluff problems as S1, I decided to just look up a recap lol. I’m holding out that S3 will keep the things this show does good while giving the writing and fluff issues. I’m very intrigued with the mysteries but I’m not liking how it’s dragging and it’s FRUSTRATING! Unlike lost, these characters are not interesting enough to be invested in so much wasted time. It’s also wild how nobody shares what they know with others…so many people have so many pieces, why hasn’t the sheriff spent the time to get the info everyone has and lay it all out? Sorry, had to rant.

100% agree. They’ve added too many useless characters and keep giving them unnecessary screen time. They shoehorned Marielle into the show for absolutely no reason other than to force LGBT on everybody watching. Lame.
