Tabithas actions I thought were actually perfect. Think about what she knows. She knows shes a missing person. She knows there will be a police investigation and she no answers because she sure as shit can't tell them the truth cause she'll be locked up for life. Also she knows what the place does to people and that there would be a reason shes back. A church was a great idea tbh but I do like that she is taking her time to think before she acts and is looking out for signs.

I don’t think Tabatha could just tell her mom what’s going on because she would be too bogged down with explaining everything to not just her mom but also to the police. Going to Victor’s house and meeting his dad maybe her only option right now in getting assistance to finding where this place may be. I liked the episode, and looking forward to the new season.

Jim wanting to leave after being adamant about going is typical Jim behavior. Imo Tabitha was better off avoiding the police ,Im glad she did.

A priest is really the only person she could've had an in depth/prolonged conversation with. She doesn't have a way to communicate with anyone she knows nor any resources.

i love how reddit saw the trailer and was CONVINCED the only way the writers could make Ethan opening the door believable was if the grandma did an impression of Tabitha being home but its lowkey funny that it was over a goat that was about to die anyway

Something scary did happen when Jim and Kenny were in the hut. They heard footsteps and something outside testing the walls and door with a few bangs. Immediately after, Jim says he should be home. Which is true. His kid was begging for him to do something so maybe thats why he went but when faced with the dangers of actually being out there for the first real time (i dont think he ever went off exploring over night) he had a change of heart. What I think is weird is why is he not talking to Victor about where his wife went? She went to a specific tree, there is no need to search the woods

i think its a VERY important clue that the weirdly happy dancin in the rain old lady from the end of s2 was in the dream WITH Elgin and able to see the ghost, that felt specific imo like shes gonna mention it to him in the real world next ep or something to that effect

this ep turned them from bloodthirsty demons to smart creatures playing a game by not killing/letting animals out etc and getting up and close with so many people in this ep it was jarring after so much seperation for the most part but sad to see a good person die a brutal death just to break him but why HIM and will boyd tell the others they said that?

The writing this episode was definitely weird. The whole conversation with her mom, the way the Dr acted, it all felt clunky.

Tabitha absolutely should not explain this town where noone can come back from. She would 100% be arrested on suspicion of killing her entire family. She made the right choices by not telling anyone because who would believe her? Certainly not be able to help her get back.
