Being from Assam, I had the privilege of witnessing College Elections in Asutosh College, South Kolkata and I was goddamn naive at that time in 2009-10 when I got to know how bloody violent a mere college election can become. At the end of the violence, one poor fellow was left with a smashed eye with a flying brick falling in his left eye (I think that fellow was in English Honours and his name was some Souvik Hazra). I was stuck inside a pharmacy outside that college with the shutters down and it was dark inside and all I could hear was "Maar Bokaaachodaa" ) . After that incident I left Kolkata and Bengal and never looked back. Now more than ever , I feel ever grateful to my grandfather for deciding to migrate to Assam instead of West Bengal from then East Bengal in 1947.

As a Bangali I can say This is the Harsh reality of West Bengal 🙂

Sir, I'm from West Bengal...Let me share a short story which will help you understand my state...In 1998 my father got selected in a recruitment process of irrigation department but didn't received the appointment letter,when my father contacted the office they said we need 2 lakhs or else you will not get the appointment,at the end my father didn't got the job because we didn't pay...today we are in 2023 and i'm looking for jobs now there are no job notifications from past 3-4 years whatsoever and those which were conducted are in court trial or corrupted in every possible way...!!!This is a suffering of a middle class family in bengal.....IRONY!!!

Extremely important video! As a Bengali who has just moved out of the state, I feel bad when Bengal is called the scam capital of the world. As mentioned in the video, when the youth don't have jobs, they're only left with two options - move out or give in to unconventional ways which are mostly criminal in nature. At this point, the only thing I know is that TMC has to go, it's a disease which has left our state dry and destroyed for decades to come, but no more. Period!

I am from bengal (Howrah)..in my booth vote started from 12 am midnight 😂😂..and there is no ideological fight..it is only for TMC leader's economic development and panchayat will give them freehand to loot for next 5 yrs...here is nothing no it jobs, no govt jobs.. then how they will survive without looting public fund??..few days ago during election campaign..pici and vaipo senta clear message to their grass root workers that if they loss the panchayat election still they will run the government..then why bengal is still burning???.. because here is no jobs, no industry.. nothing..then how they will survive??..so panchayat become a source of income for TMC leaders and party workers

From bengal i can ensure one thing that this state is doomed now,State election Commission to state Police and even BDO officers are also Curropted and prejudiced towards TMC.

There is a popular saying in Bengali _ " Gram Bangla jaar, Bangla taar." Which translates as_ " Those who has a strong domination in rural Bengal, Bengal is theirs."

As a resident of West Bengal I can vouch for this video. As a matter of fact, this is by far the most analytical, informative and unbiased video I've ever seen. I could have written 50 pages about so many things, but rather I'd request everyone to watch this video instead, no matter which political ideology you support.

Once one of the County's educational hub and prosperous state, now become backward state because of political instability and leadershipness , after the end of left rule everyone expected that the state will prosper but unfortunately the state gradually falling behind.

I am from murshidabad (most effected district by political violance) for me it is not uncommon to see political violance. It become a tradition to do violance in election specially in panchayat and every political party do this. One of the two major reason is UNEMPLOYMENT and ILLITERACY.

As a local staying in kolkata for last 2 decades, I do not rely on social media or whatsapp much for genuine news, but we get to hear about harsh reality from people coming in the city from grass root levels, from villages and suburbs to work as drivers, maids, gardeners, cooks etc. and what we are witnessing every single day with our own eyes. No one can buy or sell lands in areas adjacent to main Kolkata without giving hefty commissions to local goons who are identified mostly as immigrant muslims, which cannot happen without support from ruling party. Agencies supplying housemaids, nurses or security guards have been instructed to give priorities to muslims, which means now if you are hiring a guard or cook for your household from agency, chances are very high that you will have to give access to a muslim whether you want it or not. Poor men want to send their gorwn up daughters away from home or employ them in some decent household where TMC goons will not abduct them at their will. This year during bakri id, some socities in Kolkata has opposed to bringing and open killing of goats inside the premises which is uniquely happening for the first time. Seems our CM is measuring the depths of you-know-what. The whole city has been turned into a slum, with millions of immigrant muslims (mostly) having been license to sit and do business on every available footpaths. This is destroying the businesses of age old bengali or other businessmen and traders. When she cannot provide employment for the existing literate or semiliterate youth of Bengal, how can she make it worse by allowing crores of illegal immigrants only and only for her own selfish need!! And the man who is publicly known as her "nephew", Abhishek Banerjee, is the biggest mafia at this moment. Whether it is cow or sand or coal or gold, no smuggling can happen without his permission. What is happening here is clear indication of indulging in communal appeasement putting all other communities at risk, like it or not. CPM also used to appease to some extent, but never had we felt so threatened or compelled to put up with political atrocities. I am not a political person, I support any good work done by any political party for greater mass.

As someone who's parents are from West Bengal but are now living in Delhi, I wholeheartedly agree that we need a reform in WB. Hopefully with less violence.

You will find bengali workers everywhere around India. They travel to other states like Kerala, Tamilnadu, Mumbai, Delhi, karnataka, Hyderabad in serach of jobs. No industrial developments in Bengal. It's difficult for me also to get a high profile job in educational industry there. Lots of options in other states.

Akash ji, I'm from Bengal and the situation is totally chaotic... Police are being assaulted, beaten with bamboo sticks, on the other hand some of them are supporting criminals in rigging. Today in a Panchayat a CPIM member was winning so the TMC member literally tore the bunch of ballots, swallowed half of the paper and threw rest 😂, it's hilarious and shocking at the same time. On 8th hooligans assaulted poling agents, beaten them violently, put water in the ballot box, threw ballot boxes in ponds, put election documents on fire. Destroyed Booths, killed civilians and bombing was the most common matter of this festival. TMC is only highlighting that 11 of their members were killed but it's mostly because of internal conflict of the ruling party as well as due to resistance from other parties. Note that TMC will never ask questions to the state election commission for their loss because the commission itself is just a mere puppet of govt. The same goes for the police force, they have to follow the order. TMC knows their endgame is near, that's why they're trying to stay in power by hook or crook, but that's not gonna work for long now that people are realising their true faces.

Political domination i.e. dadagiri by party people and their pet goons and corruption are playing a decisive role in rampaging the socio-economic fabric of this state. Sandeshkhali women are being oppressed by TMC thugs. Actually CPIM is leading the struggle of oppressed people. Trinamool carried out a terrible terror in Bengal. Sandeshkhali is no different from other Bengal scenario. But the media and Trinamool-BJP are deliberately trying to divide the votes by making the struggle of the people of Sandeshkhali in communal policy. But this movement is completely led by CPIM. Another thing, you misinterpreted, Shahjahan was not a big businessman, not a leader during CPIM period. Actually Shahjahan's uncle was a local leader of the CPIM and a panchayat chief. And Shahjahan's uncle was awarded the Best Panchayat Pradhan award by the central's government when he was the Panchayat Pradhan. But Shajahan was never member of CPIM. But the media is misinterpreting it. Bengali media has a habit of blaming the CPM when a child has an upset stomach. And if there is a political fight, whether the BJP is there or not, the Trinamool-BJP will show a fake fight. People like you who are anti-BJP from outside Bengal think that Trinamool is BJP's enemy. Actually it is not real, Trinamool-BJP is not different. The Lok Sabha and the Vidhan Sabha have worked out the strategy of keeping each other in their hands. There is so much bad propaganda about CPM on the soil of Bengal, in reality most of it is disinformation. But the media and political tactics have actually put it into your head that many misconceptions have been created about the Left government. Mamata is a product of RSS. I am from kolkata, my father after serving as an officer in Indian Army decided to settle in kolkata being a bengali. There is very little job opportunity in bengal. Violence culture started during Jyoti basu era , whose Daughter lived a luxurious life is England. Cpm made sure all industry fled from bengal. They were never serious about tata nano factory. In 2011 just the color changed happened and corruption became more evident. BJP would do the same. Yes sad part is there is no job opportunity in bengal hardly few in sector v.

West Bengal is currently facing a very difficult situation with corruption within the TMC on one hand, and the presence of TMC supporters engaging in violence on the other. Additionally, there are concerns about political motivations within the Election Commission and bias and corrupted within the police force.. even cong demand 355 . Many opposition workers have been allegedly killed by TMC members, and there have been concerns that the police have not taken appropriate action by filing firs in these cases. Save WB 🙏

I appreciate The Deshbhakt that he has spoken up against this violence in WB. Many other channels like News laundry are simply silent on WB violence(much like centre is on Manipur) , exposing their own hypocrisy.

Amidst political violence and unimaginable rigging in the Panchayet election, the resurrection of CPIM-CONGRESS-ISF alliance is interesting. The alliance got 7% vote in 2021 vidhansava election. But now , they have got about 25% votes and in some districts, they have moved up to 2nd place. Its quite interesting. While it is not clear till now that whether bjp or Left-Congress-isf alliance have finished in 2nd place, the regaining of Left-Congress-isf alliance have become a matter of worry for both TMC and BJP...
