@@CondViktor hydropunk exists (but there is even no wiki page so I’m not Shute about that), but BIOSHOCK is still dieselpunk (and how BIOSHOCK: infinite can be hydropunk?)
All of them except Bs: Infinite are arguably dieselpunk with different themes and style. First 2 Bioshock are definitely Dieselpunk with its original take on the genre. Red Alert is diesel+tesla, and Dishonored too (teslapunk is more a secondary trait of either steam or diesel, it can hardly exist in its own) Both Wolfenstein games are still hardcore dieselpunk despite the more advanced technology after Blazkowicz wakes up in the 60s. Just like Fallout is early post-apoc atompunk at best, but still dieselpunk inspired (just look at the first 2 games covers, with those bulky power armors) A true Atompunk would be Atomic Heart, or the jetsons. Cyberpunk is anything like terminator, robocop, escape from new York. But generally it's more on the style of Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Gundam, NGE, Pat Labour, etc.
I would love to see a game or movie series be something like a steampunk world going into world war. -the first movie wold be steampunk, and would be leading up to early 1900. -the sequel would be dieselpunk and it would be something like those iron order ads that I keep on seeing. -The final movie would be ww2. It would be a new type of punk I didn’t just come up with on the spot: swatzica punk, it would more or less be like a more advanced dieselpunk.
Is this a reupload? Because I remember watching this video like 4-5 years ago but it says the video is a year old which makes no sense? am I trippin or what
