Hello friends!
My name is Sonyx and I wanted to share with you a truly positive interaction I had with a subscriber, Sebby. Sebby commented on one of my previous videos, "The Absolute Best Way to Improve in Apex Legends." She said that she's been wanting to get better but her own "friends" and teammates would often reprimand her, not have a great time, and eventually leave.
So I decided to add her on discord and play with her. Immediately I noticed my ping went to 200 since we were playing on her servers (asia based). However, it didn't matter, I wanted to try my best, teach her a few things, and just have a good time. 3 hours later, she became one of my closest friends. She taught me the lessons of kindness.

Hope you’re doing good and stopped receiving toxic comments! Sometimes maybe just turn off the mic and actually enjoy the game! Or even play some mixtape and have some fun, this is why they were built! Or even just go into the range and play some random games with yourself! After seeing your video about listening to people, I had to watch another. This proves even more about how great of an influence you are not only for the Apex community but for being a good person in general. It's honestly so refreshing to see you help people on a game that's quite well-known for its toxic community, especially helping out a girl! I see a ton of feedbacks where girls on Apex are trashtalked the second they open their mic on the game, or not revived, or just left by themselves by the rest of the team. Fortunately I have very good IRL friends to play with from time to time so I don't get these kind of behaviours, but everytime I think about playing by myself with randoms to improve and have the skills to enjoy the game even more, I find myself immediately brushing off the thought because of these kind of feedbacks... And I don't have the abilities to solo-queue, plus I'm an introvert. So yeah, I really like the positivity and the kindness you're both showing among this community, and once I gather the courage to solo-queue, I hope my future random teammates will be just like you :) keep it up! We need this!

That must feel so terrible to have to limit yourself since most of the time, randoms will say the most hurtful things and be really unsupportive with their comments. Ikr, ytbers nowadays only make content because of money, not for fun and education(of apex) they usually just dont do the content where it gets little money but really entertain us. Ngl kinda glad Sonys is still a small ytber, but I gotta have faith in him to not turn into those ytbers!! 🤍

This is awesome! This is what online games are meant to be about. Being able to genuinely build friendships and have fun is so important, yet people always neglect it for favor of just playing to win. Yeah winning is fun, but when I’m playing with a friend I don’t care about winning because I’m just having a good time. Loved the video!

Wow! Truly a legend! Despite having to make vids and stuff you can still help people not only in apex and also mentally. I really love how you support people in many different ways and always deliver us with fun and touching content. You’re the only true ‘legend’ in apex man. Really wish I had a mentor like u lol, but I’m figuring things out myself. But there is one thing that bothers me a lot is that I seldom have friends to play with, and none of my current classmates play apex either, Im depressed about this fact ngl, I can’t even chat abt apex with anyone and my parent’s limits me on making friends online so I’m just forcing myself to play apex at this point because that’s the game I like playing, but not playing alone. Anyways how have u been man, this much edit must have taken a lot of time! Remember to take some rest and stay hydrated! Even one of the loading screen tips says that too! Overall I’m just really glad Reddit brought me to you lol 🤍

It sucks how gaming can be like that sometimes. Playing six by yourself can be fun sometimes, but always having to play alone is something that seems unfair for you. One large message I’ve been trying to spread is the message of independence, or at least trust in people. I really think that someday, we could play some apex together, but from what it looks like, I don’t I can play with you because of restrictions. Hope you still enjoy apex for a long time.

I saw your last video where you give the advice to listen more and i love it. I wished i would know what my topic would be (where my eyes glowe up )because i think i dont have that or just dident finde it yet. But i will not give up untill i know what i need and want in live.
