Taiwan spend around 10~15 billion USD on American weapons every year, for the last 30 years. 8 billion aide from US to Taiwan is peanuts in comparison, as if Taiwanese cares? Taiwan holds up to 450 billion in US treasury. Taiwan is not short of money, but want these lazy Americans finished up the military order they placed few years back. Some people think and say China GDP will go up after the 3 years Covid interruptions is ridiculous. For China to still able to grow in economy during this time is positive. Back in March 2021 , Blinken told Chinese diplomats that he was talking to China "from a position of strength" and asked China to obey the US International Rules Based Order . He was rebutted by the Chinese diplomat - Yang Jiechi immediately . Will Bliinken ask China to choose between "At the Table or On the Menu " as well ?
