After Theresa May announced she is stepping down, we look back at resignation speeches from other British prime ministers. Report by Lily Thomas. #PrimeMinister #resignation #TheresaMay
The British are special..hear hear...said by one of the best PM´s....me having 75%german and 25% BRITISH blood...but 100% BRITISH by Heart...may God bless our noble Queen
We can add two more (for now) since this was made, and they were separated by a short space of time. May's successor, Boris Johnson and then his very short lived successor, Liz Truss. Of course, at the time of commenting, May 2024, it's only a matter of time before it happens again, with Rishi Sunak
Boris didn't leave in tears, Boris doesn't leave. Pray nothing, and anything can, happen in the time Boris is still in place. A non Prime Minister, he resigned, will be leading the country. Rules have to change no longer does common sense rule. He will hold on to power as long as he is allowed to. Why are the British public putting up with this perversion of government? What you put up with now will only get worse later.

@Deos Have little patience. May and Johnson will soon bring Corbyn in power. Another few years with Corbyn and Labour, the hyperinflation and depression will be back and the circle will be complete.
Thatcher didn’t do shite, she brought us just under the inflation rate and growth rate of the rest of the EU, she changed the tax rates to tax the poor more which has raised the number of people in poverty and the amount of poor people in England from 17% to 43% from 1980-2018. She managed to fix Britain's economic problems but didn’t build on it to cause economic large growth or even average economic growth compared to the rest of the west world which is a key reason why we went from 7th to 12th largest economy during her tenure.
What about the fixing of our country after being a destroyed nation loaded with inflation? What was so funny about building thousands of private properties for all people, where’s the joke in building so many businesses and jobs and stabilising our governments money and our currency so we wouldn’t as a nation fall apart? Where’s the joke
