Is there more at stake in the strut- move than just lost revenue for a few vendors? well, here is one argument. we're turning our back on a big part of city history and discouraging any attempt to revive it again. memphis has beale stet.. atlanta has sweet auburn. and back in the day, chattanooga had the big nine. a few years ago, nordia epps recreated the heyday of mlk boulevard for the our town series. and we thought it might be worth the dusting off again.
