How does a man who has been suspended for misconduct in SA and the UK wind up practicing again? Taking advantage of people. He opened his practice in Khayelitsha knowing very well that he could take advantage of the poor. Knowing that our government doesn’t protect its people.

It is clear to me that he has powerful friends in all these high places. First he took SMU to court and won over a qualification, then he repeatedly gets allowed to practice by the HPCSA even if he's extremely incompetent. Definitely has serious connections.

I was also misdiagnosed by a well known gynecologist in Sandton... I completely understand and empathise with this lady. Positive I found an amazing oncology team who saved me... still a long road ahead 😊❤ keep strong 💪 🙏 lady

Heart breaking and disturbing. We need to take precautions as patients and families because the structures that are supposed to provide oversight are failing us. A friend trying to conceive visted a gynaecologist who told her she has fibriods and would need an immediate hysterectomy. The second opinion gynae simply removed the fibriods, stated there was no need for hysterectomy and warned the patient against fake doctors. Let us be vigilant.

This was so hard to watch. So upsetting because so many people failed these patients and this Dr was left without having to account for to long. I have been using the same Gynae for 10 years now and have had two surgeries with him. I really appreciate his professionalism, care and respect.

And nurses too 😢 this is why it’s so important to pray when going to the doctor so that you land into safe hands that are not agents of the devil. Didn’t realize this until my second pregnancy that it’s really important to pray more importantly for the spirit of discernment before seeing a health practitioner at any point especially for things such as operations. 💔 People can be so heartless. This was painful to watch 😭 I’m pretty sure there’s more victims we are not seeing, this is heartbreaking 😞

There are so many points of failure here and the so many people/organizations that are meant to be held responsible. Not only should this terrible man lose his license, but he should be held accountable for the false and irresponsible treatment of his patient. Secondly, the hospital that hired him should also be held accountable as they would have needed to have done a background check on him before allowing any of their patients to be under his care. This patient should have also been brought up in a MDT meeting to ensure her treatment would have been done correctly. At the same time, how was she not referred to oncology? This sort of situation is sickening, this poor women could have been treated and lived a long life. And now that she is gone, no one is being held accountable.

I consulted with him twice in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first child, during my second consultation he kept on saying I must go to him for a c-section but my husband was like no something is dodgy about this doctor.
