yeah there sure is, we have some great horrible stuff with creeks in the gullys it looks prety similar but with a bit more local plants. if you ever get a chance to go to the neavisville its prety aweseome
Awesome trails over there, how do you go with the police and regoing bikes etc. over there? You get caught here on dirt roads etc or other peoples property and its game over. and we dont really have any open trails that you cant ride without rego. AU here.
Hey man I got a x this year I have 70 hours on it and I ride single-track and trails was just wondering what tyres you use and how many hours you were doing on the top end intervals? i run Yamalube 2R 40:1 Br7es plugs, when I first got the x I ran castor 927 but kept fouling plugs, I’m not very good with jetting so I’m looking at getting a Lectron. You should be good for Erzberg now with that new 300 ;)
i loved motoz arena hybrid on the back of the yz with tubliss , worked real well , ran scorpion xc mid soft on the front , that was the go 2 combo for a good year , did top at 100-200 along with crank , depends where you are as the 250x here was jetted different , it was one leaner pilot one leaner needle clip and one main that was it 50:1 motul , ran great , ive got a lectron on the ktm its been sweet , erzberg would be mean !!!
So I got 100 hours on my 250x now going to do my top end piston and rings I don’t want push it any further than 100, why do you put a new crank in ? How many hours were you doing your bottom end rebuilds. I tried the tyres you recommended performed very well going to try the motoz gummy next. Did you like the ktm 350 exc’s ?
Hi there Enduro North dude. I've followed your vids for awhile now and always enjoy them. I;m thinking of putting a trail tech enduro 2 computer on my yz250x. but I have put an oversized(270) brake disc on. I know you ran one for a while so could you tell me if it would work with my bigger rotor. Chur
yo , you are right i did have one on for a short time , it was with the stock smaller disc , when i went with the 270 disc it was going to be a bit harder to mount it so i just left it off , you might just have to get creative to mount it , i stopped resetting it before rides so i did not see the point putting it back on , i use my phone now even tho i have a trip pc on the ktm
How’d you find the YZ ? Believe you now have a ktm300- completely different bike? I’ve had a ktm 450 (08) then a husaberg Fe250 (14) looking for something, but I’m not sure ... maybe a WR?
The yz was good at the time . much better to ride to the previous gen ktms but the new gen counter balanced 2017+ ktms you cant really compare , ktm is much easier to ride better ergos engine is awesome , its next level you cant compare them to any other 2t imo , i used to have a Wr250 and it was great havnt ridden a current model , The ktm 300 is the do it all can have it set real docile and lug around all day long , and still have it race off when you want it to , i have mine set super tame map switch on soft , green spring and pv turned out
