Instead, he turned to Brian Argain. January 22, 2003 Scott again inquired about selling the Covena house Scott called Brian Argain to inquire about selling the house. Transcript The phone conversation lasted 4 minutes and was captured in one of the wiretaps. Scott asked Brian about getting together with him to discuss the possibilities. He wanted to put it on the market right away, as a furnished home, and wanted it kept secret from the media. Scott said, 'no way is Laci coming back to that place.' Brian said since LE had already searched the house, he didn't know of any reason why Scott couldn't sell it, but he would check for him. They arranged to meet for lunch the next day to continue the conversation. January 23, 2003 Scott met with Brian, but didn't discuss selling the house In a wiretapped voicemail to Brian, Scott confirmed that he met with Brian as arranged on the 22nd, but they didn't have an opportunity to discuss selling the house. Transcript MPD acknowledged they had undercover officers on hand. January 27, 2003 Scott talked again with Brian Argain about selling the house In a captured wiretap conversation, Brian agreed to speak with his manager about Scott selling the house. Transcript January 29, 2003 Scott talked again to Argain about the house In a captured wiretap conversation, Brian told Scott he would probably have to obtain a court order to sell the house since Laci's name is on the Deed. Scott then brought up the possibility of renting it, and Brian said he could have his Property Management group handle it. Brian was not to proceed, however, until he heard back from Scott. Scott's behavior during Laci's disappearance can be easily explained. He thought he had gotten away with it. No physical evidence linking him to the murders and no bodies. He didn't expect the bodies to wash ashore, that's why he didn't flee until the last minute. He was convinced he'd pulled it off perfectly.

Why didn't Scott feel it would be a " positive " to be honest with the police about Amber from the very beginning? The police even went as far as to show Scott a picture of him and Amber together to get him to be honest with them and Scott denied it was him. So when Amber came forward to the police it was only then that it became a " positive " in the search for Laci? As my Grandfather would say, He's a real piece of work.
He made it plain he didn’t want kids but she acted like it was nothing and got pregnant anyway. It’s mind boggling. Why have kids with a guy who cheated on her before they even got married ? Yes, he cheated on her before they married. That proved he was a lying cheat. After the pregnancy announcement Scott said to everyone he’d been hoping for infertility. Laci knew that too. I would have LEFT ! And he refused to touch her pregnant stomach. Obviously he was grossed out by it. Yet she stayed. I’ve heard cases of other women like that, they seem detached and go ahead and get pregnant. Sharon Tate was that way. Roman Polanski never wanted children and Sharon waited till her pregnancy was more advanced before telling him, he’d want her to get an abortion. I don’t understand women like that. I’d want my baby to be loved and wanted, not have some weird resentful father. The number one cause of death for pregnant women is being murdered by the father of the baby. The way he deliberately says he has times where he just "can't continue" and gets too upset to cope is his way to try to justify his complete lack of emotions here. His tone is truly banal and actually a harsh low constant near growl which, as someone with hyperacusis, truly irritates my ears. Peterson is trying to seem calm in the face of adversity but this is just like Chris Watts when talking to the media. There's duping delight in any of Peterson's smiles in other interviews and the only time he smiles is when he mentions Laci's disappearance and her potentially meeting foul play. It's profoundly disturbing to see those smiles. Maybe he realised how they came across to Sawyer so here he is trying not to smile at all. Either way, he's a narcissistic sociopath in my view although he'd need an in-person assessment with a qualified psychologist to confirm this suspicion.

Such as the fact that another pregnant torso had washed up in the same area just a few months before, and Scott Peterson definitely didn't kill that woman. But they buried that story because he was such a son of a bitch. I still don't know to this day if he killed her, but I do know he's a sociopath/psychopath/scum of the earth, and his being in prison is poetic justice whether he killed her or not. I think he put the cement anchors on her neck and arms and with the decomposition of the body and the bad weather and storm the anchors probably cut her arms and neck and that led the body to wash ashore.

The used, 2002 Dodge Dakota that Scott purchased on January 28th was worth less than the 2002 4x4 crew cab F150 the police had confiscated. The suggestion that Scott was uncaring and went to get a new truck while his wife was missing is unreasonable. Scott had a new truck before Laci went missing, but it was in police custody. Her car was traded in for the Dodge out of necessity"

He needs to back the boat down the ramp and leave it there for anyone to see in broad daylight including anyone from the hundreds of people that live on their boats all year round. There was no forensic evidence, eyewitnesses, video surveillance etc ever proving the States theory. We even have the SF Medical examiner (Boyd Stevens) explaining to the lead detective that it would be highly unlikely that 32 lbs would submerge the body. It would just float. He also said the currents would likely take the body out to sea. She was found nearly 4 months later. How do currents flowing Southbound at 4 knots place either body where they were found. -Conner (baby) was determined to be alive until Jan 3rd by both the States expert and the Medical examiner? Furthermore, Dr Charles March testified there is no way that Scott and Laci Peterson's unborn baby could have died any earlier than Dec. 29, 2002. Dr Allison Galloway determined the baby could have even been alive as far along as Jan 14th. -Conner was found above the high tide line and water break. -The baby's left ear was permanently flattened against the head and a rectangular piece of material was over his ear. -Plastic wrap knotted around his neck that had to be cut off, not far from a plastic bag which was never tested. -The criminologist and medical examiner, both concluded that the twine could not have wrapped around Conner’s neck accidentally. Dr. Cyril Wecht noted, "never in a million years." -Laci had a missing neck that is not consistent with any known disarticulation in aqueous environments. -Laci's uterus was at least 10 cm (3.9") smaller than it should have been, explaining why the incision to remove Conner was not visible on her body, and the injured 9th rib, postmortem injury is in the same location where such an incision would have been made.

Merlin, the trailing dog, led Valentin to the Gallo winery, very near the Airport district where Todd and Pearce lived and where stolen goods were recovered. Diane Jackson reported seeing the burglary in progress on the morning of December 24. Tom Harshman reported seeing Laci later that afternoon being forced into a van similar to the one Jackson saw. Adam Tenbrink told his brother Shawn that Laci interrupted Todd and others during the burglary and Todd threatened her. Todd and Pearce gave conflicting information about the timing of the burglary.
Another certain person in a similar case should of done that as well and maybe would not have to change her name and have people thinking she’s involved

Credible witnesses independently reported seeing Laci walking in the neighborhood along the same route and during the same time period. I always think this. Reactions are so interesting. You'd be frantic. I wouldn't be giving interviews, I'd be out there searching high n low. Chris Coleman's reaction on hearing his wife and 2 sons had been murdered - didn't ask how. Casey Anthony in her jail visits with her parents never once asking if they'd caught the perpetrator or racking her brains to work out who could have killed her daughter. They forget that people are observing them because they think they're cleverer. They're not.
I could not stand his body language. Hand tested on his lab, calmer facial expression and eye contact. How can you carry this kind of pose when your pregnant wife is missing?
Interesting Scott's phone is ringing off the hook and he decides to decline it so he could continue the interview unfettered. You'd think he would immediately answer any call because it could be new information about his missing pregnant wife. It's all the things Scott did: ordered porn while they were searching for Laci, selling lacis vehicle, turning the nursery into a storage room, telling Amber he's in France when he's at a vigil for Laci, lacis body turning up right where Scott went fishing in a boat no one knew he bought, telling Amber he lost his wife before she was lost, that solidifies Scott's guilt.

To be logical, that doesn’t prove he murdered her. It proves he was a scum husband and person. 14 witnesses state they saw Laci walking their dog, during the time Scott was at the warehouse on his computer (computer logs prove that.) It was also years later recorded by a prison guard a phone call of the robber from the day Laci went missing, telling whomever he was on the phone with about murdering Laci. The guard recorded the call, turned it into the police. Magically, the tape went missing. Let me be clear- I think Scott was a terrible husband. I think he did a lot of suspicious activity that makes him look bad. Fact of the matter is however you are only supposed to convict when “beyond a reasonable doubt”- there’s plenty of reasons to doubt. I think Scott, being the scum that he is, was RELIEVED that Laci was missing. I think he didn’t want to be a dad or husband anymore, and when Laci went missing, it was all too convenient and he had no problem moving on. Which isn’t too hard to believe considering his affair, in a sense, he already was moving on.

Scott said "Laci was simply going to be baking that day". Correct. She had no intention to walk the dog!!! Laci was suffering from fatigue and her doctor advised her not to go for walks. Her own Mother confirmed this.
Correct. And in the newest documentary they mention she had been having fainting spells and had even vomited a couple times on her walks. The doctor had advised her not to go on walks anymore.
That's what I was thinking. He hears the phone ring and let's it ring, then afterwards he can't find it? Any innocent person who has a missing wife or child would be carrying that phone with them at ALL times and would be running to answer it and check who was calling. Just like Chris Watts when he was watching the neighbors camera footage. He clearly didn't want to see it. But an innocent man who has a pregnant wife and 2 small kids both under 5 years old would be glued to the t.v and be watching it over and over for anything that might give a clue to what happened.
Or maybe he’s just guilty of murder and knew she was never coming back. We could go back and forth all day. He ignored call waiting when talking to amber a few times in the audios too. Wasn’t an isolated incident. Believe what you want. You’re allowed. I think the idea of shutting off a 2nd phone is silly though. If it were my wife I’d keep both lines open at all times. When they had their own call line open, when Laci was missing, one of the detectives had someone call in with info that seemed to implicate Scott. They just wanted to see if the Petersons were being legit, and really sharing all the info with them like they were supposed to be doing. Do you think they shared those incriminating calls? Of course not! Scott is as guilty as they come!

So can you, as I’ve seen you post repeatedly about your opinion on this case and get annoyed with everyone who disagrees with you. Here’s an idea. Since Scott is in prison after being found guilty by a jury of his peers, after reviewing testimony, there is really nothing more for me to say or do. However, since you are so convinced he’s innocent, are such a “ deep thinker”, and believe you’re smarter than all of the detectives and lawyers ,who make a living conducting investigations and presenting them in court, how about you do something useful and find the true killer? I came here to compare his interview to Chris Watts interview. Wow. So similar. He only agreed to a *future interview because he had to prepare all these responses (lies) but yet he could not nail down the emotions and reactions. It was so wrenching to hear him say with emphasis on "did not want" that "Lacey did not want to get in that boat." It's probably the most truthful thing he said. And he probably said it because he struggled putting her and his son's dead body weight in it.

Sociopaths are made Psychopaths are born. There is no evidence Scot was a product of his environment, so psychopath is more appropriate. Also, he earned $5,000 per month, so he wasn't stupid. He came close to getting away with it. Had it not been for that storm, which tore the bodies away from those homemade anchors, she likely would not have been found.
