I got the privilege of seeing this every day while growing up this came from my family farm it was always so beautiful thanks for having this online i have tears in my eyes seeing it again. We never knew it was going away forever thank you for sharing

Thank you for telling the story of this piece. As someone who owns the hair work of my past family members, I can relate to the incredible power of holding a piece of our collective human history. Lovely series of videos here.

What an amazing way to remember your loved ones. I have never seen anything like this before, and it's kind of sad that it is, I assume, a lost art. Very beautiful indeed.

Spectacular piece 🥰❤️we do not have this Victorian tradition anymore,which is such a shame.I kept a small bunch of hair in a keepsake box 😅

Beautiful, eery and sweet at the same time. I wonder if this also implies, at least theoretically, that the DNA of each of those persons is present in this woven strand?

What a fantastic piece. To bad the key did not come w it. I make human hair flowers as did my great grandma. Take a look at my tutorial by typing in Demonstration on how to make human hair flowers Victorian by Grandma Money. We need to save this dying art.
