The Ragnarök... truly, the bringer of the end times. It has been foretold in the great prophecy of ship warfare that a god-ship will be born, and the world shall end. That ship, that god, is the Ragnarök.
I half hope for a day that robbaz's fleet takes on a fleet 10 times stronger than his, and him and the pilkington go down fighting like true Vikings...
+Imperial Scholar Expert there is a faction thats called the steel striders and they bassicly said : " eyy fuck it add a shitton of armor and giant cannons, dont forget the shields!"
WYPOUT 429 i have made a ship that probably rivals the current ragarok in power. The HMS Unsinkable. It is huge i tell you. It has 2 double barrel secondary turrets and 4 triple barrel 500mm cannons. It removes everything from existance. I tell You EVERYTHING.
His difficulty settings appear to be turned all the way down, though for his amount of experience in the game, he has done a very good job with this ship.
+IPlayPCTooMuch Turning them down doesn't change much in ftd, as the enemies he's fighting now are the easiest in the game. the ragnarok wouldn't survive against the tougher enemies which utilize missle or lazer spam
Read the tooltips when you set your difficulty settings. The one titled "difficulty modifier" is especially apparent here. Also, the Onyx Watch doesn't even have any missile/laser spam vehicles, they have the Glaive, but those lasers are limited to air targets that are directly overhead.
+BrotherTorag All Deepwater Guard ships will spawn regardless of difficulty setting. They're all easy ships. And that ship wouldn't last in a longer fight against missiles and advanced cannons.
I am disappointed with you Robbaz, there has been no submarine yet, nor penis shaped craft, even thou the penis design is probably the hardest of them all.
Well we now have the Large Lad Yamato, which is twice the size of the most advanced version of the boat ragnarok. And the ragnarok is already the size of the irl yamato
(in epic narrator voice) "after defeating the deepwater guard, the ruthless sea lord, robbaz has constructed a ship designed to destroy the world, armed with 4 " eraser" cannons, cruise missiles and regular missiles, it was able to take out the strongest fleet of the onyx watch alone, putting the leaders of all the other factioms in fear, will robbaz succeed in conquering the seas? will the faction leaders end their disputes and unite to defeat this seemingly god like warship? find out in the next episode of from the depths!" #HailLordRobbaz
TimeWarpProductions yeah but when he has finished off the easier fractions he's gonna get his ass kicked if he doesn't learn more about armor/shields...
Random Person and thats exactly the point, an enemy is meant to present a threat........ most factions are underpowered or outdated, so we could need a new one....
Lorenz Barnet The point is to have an enemy that destroys you no matter what, unless you exploit game mechanics to a near-cheating degree (eg tripple layered shielding)? Please never dabble in the gaming industry, ever.
When you take over a ship, you don't need to place a new Mainframe! When you destroy the original and begin reconstructing it, it will build a mainframe that belongs to you.
TKCGaming yes they go to valhall, its like a warrior heaven and ragnarok would end the world. i dont think ending the world and heaven are in the same category unless its the rapture :p
I kind of meant like if Odin was to pick a ship in Robbaz's army to use it would be the Ragnarok because of its awesome destruction. I did not know that Valhalla was a "heaven" for Vikings so he would not being sending them their but to hell instead
The Ragnarok is a fucking monster. And thanks for the upload Robert. These 'From the deep' videos has become a great father son time on Sundays. Please keep them coming. The more the better.
Well, he has his difficulty settings absurdly low, he was outgunned by the Bulwark (the large ship at the end) and he wouldn't have survived as long as the Bulwark in battle, if he were playing on normal settings. However, if he threw some shields on the hull, AP rounds on the cannons, and added some more cannons, he could very easily take the Ragnarok to the Onyx Throne.
Adjusting the difficulty settings, in a sandbox game, is something you add before you're even ready to release the game as an *early alpha*. Also, if there ever were a time where you couldn't adjust the difficulty settings (not a single moment after the game went public was like this, to my knowledge), the game would be on normal difficulty settings.
+IPlayPCTooMuch Except that if the difficulty was so low, stuff like the bulwark wouldn't spawn in. Your arguments is rather flawed with that, but yes, defense-wise the Ragnarok would be fragile if anyone got past the firepower long enough.
I bet Robbaz would be out first / second, because you can clearly see, he's playing on easy, what about the hard enemies? They're almost 4 times more fuel efficient and damage dealing ships than the Ragnarök, believe me, the new update made Ragnarök 2 times worse than it was. Might be Elysium who wins, because he has the most turrets and the fastest reload speed, semi damage but might come second because lathrix has maybe the best, 200mm turrets, or had, dk if he changed them, time passes, and so do memories. Theres also a faction called Steel Striders, whose leader just usually says '' Just put 100 tons of metal and a 650mm turret on top of a ship let's sail with a broadside on to any ships we encounter! Don't forget the shields.''
DWG Officer: Sir! We have spotted a Pilkington Ship by itself! DWG Captain: Then we shall have our revenge for the men that have fallen! Men! Battle Stations! *Heavy rain and thunder start as a massive ship appears on the horizon* DWG Officer: "Wait sir what is that?!" DWG Captain fully sees the broadsiding monster: "What have I done-" On November 8th of the Deep Water guard conquest, the Ragnarok, the bringer of doom and destruction was born. With her appearance, the Deep Water guard was officially destroyed. And with her ever-lasting hunger, the Ragnarok saw fit, to end a war she brought. Or rather, to cause total annihilation. The beginning of the end, for the Iron War, has commenced.
Ragnarok: a massive ship that obeys the command of the Pilkington, a smaller ship that commands the authority of other powerful ships. It has come under scrutiny whether Ragnarok was forged by Gods of War, or if Robbaz the True Viking Lord and Savior created it himself. Either way, anyone who faces the Ragnarok is already dead.
My fleet can fuck up the Ragnarok with ease his missiles don't work on my 3 submarines that are all heavily armored and shielded to avoid contact with his cannons
Yo I've never really thought of how much this guy cuts in between action scenes and other stuff of interest in this series. Just bought the game and it's taken me 24 hours of gameplay to just about learn the controls when building hahaha
+The Mighty .Chicken "At the point in time when bullets can pass the interdimensional walls, when firepower takes up the entirety and eternity of space and time all being stuck in a neverending life and death cycle as bullets recover and destroy their bodies in quick succession, no one able to think about anything but the sheer force of the bullets rapidly flying litteraly everywhere in the materium turning the warp itself into nothing but a sea of semi-automatic weaponry then there will be enough dakka, or at least almost" The Emperor
Sodomy and precious metals are the order of the day for Pilkington's armada as the venture North begins. The Deep Water Guard's flying chickens are replaced by the floating fortresses of the Onyx Watch, which is fine for our bald warlord as his hulking new fleet addition needs more metal than a teenager in the 1980's. With his enemies melted down to form the internal organs of his new ship, the Manc dons his ceremonial eye patch and fires up the engines...
+Roxanne Eleazar What if.. What if robbaz spawned in the ragnarok in a custom battle thing?! And spawns like SOOO many ships around it, who would survive, the Ragnarok. Or the enemies of Outnumbering ships? c;
In which the squirrels evade capture once more, the Onyx Watch start to lose their border territories to the Pilkington Fleet, and Robbaz makes the beginnings of a late-game ship...
Robbaz dude, youre an architectural YENIOUS!! Everytime you build something, be it From the Depths or Sims or anything else, the designs, the overkill, its pure perfection!!
Robbaz, my suggestion is to make two REALLY long but small ANTI AIR batteries (each one = 12 guns) With that rate of fire and firepower you would shoot down any squirrel in seconds
Which hits first, Lasers or bullets? It doesn't matter how much DAKKA you have if your guns have just been shredded by a massive internal laser system. Lathrix would win, due to the E.coli's shielding and weapon systems.
If you compare the ship sizes, with the Huginn and the Munnin being destroyers and the Pilkington a cruiser, along with the aircraft carrier about the size of the Pilkington, The Ragnarök would probably be a capital ship
On this day, a god was born. This was no ordinary vessel, the HMS Ragnarok would be the terror of the seas, any who opposed her would be erased from existence in a matter of seconds
