From the Footplate on the Severn Valley Railway 

If you asked any kid of my generation in the mid-1960s what they wanted to be when they grew up, I reckon 99 per cent of them would have said, an engine driver. Fifty years later in April 2019, I got my chance when my two girls bought me a day on the Severn Valley Railway and an experience I'll never forget!
