Jesus is not God in human form. He is God’s Son. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit carry the power and spirit of God that was bestowed to them by God, the Father. Jesus himself said "my Father is greater than I" (John 14:28). By this verse alone: if Jesus was God then that means there is one greater than God...but there is no one greater or equal to God. Jesus used his own free will to come down from heaven and take upon the ENTIRE sins of the world so that we may have a relationship with him and be reconciled back to the Father in heaven. If Jesus spoke of himself, it would be a lie because it would not be the will of the Father (John 5:30-31, John 8:26). To make it simple, Jesus is the 'Word of God' manifested in flesh because everything Jesus said came from and was confirmed by God FIRST-but he is not God himself. Only the Father can hold the title of God. "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a COMMANDMENT, what I should say, and what I should speak" (John 12:49).

Your understanding is severely lacking. My earthly father is greater in position than me, but we are equal in essence (both human). Same applies to Jesus and His eternal father (yet Godhood). Even the term Word of God, which is the Logos. Logos is not only the spoken word, but the reasoning and thought processes behind the spoken word. So when did God exist without His reasoning and thought processes? And how could He create His reasoning if He had no reasoning to begin with? See your faulty logic?
