From the Lens to Runway: Outernet London 

We launched From the Lens to Runway in partnership with Outernet London. This spectacular event was curated by Emmanuel Sugo, Sahara Ashanti and Auda Sakho from Camden Black Creatives.
The outdoor multimedia installations, explored Black British creativity through the lens of Camden and London based artists including Kaia Laurielle, Abstract Benna, Kassandra Gordon, Lula Mebrahtu, Maxsho, Caroline Chinakwe and Violeta Sofia. The cultural interventions celebrated Black joy, freedom, and community; an experience that placed Black voices at the centre.
From the Lens to Runway was a free event held in October 2023, as part of our fourth Black History Season, where we dedicated three months to celebrating the incredible and wonderful achievements and contributions of Black people across Camden and the UK.
