It’s mind-boggling a grown a** woman can set this up and get immunity but the 14 y/o girl who set up a kid to be k*lled on a bus is deemed a threat and is locked up. This is America.
If anyone deserves another chance in the NFL, it’s this guy. Regardless of whether he does or doesn’t get another shot, I will be rooting for this guy’s success and his family’s well being.
@@tylerblalack6684he spent a year in jail and a year on house arrest for clear cut self defense while on trial. He had no right being charged with murder whatsoever.
Ive never been more happy to see someone found innocent. This man is a prime example of calm under pressure. He's an amazing young man and i hope the most for him and his family
No the women was. None of it would’ve happened if she didn’t send the text or as flemlo said the many hours she had to text them sayin not to go through with it and she was acting out of anger. In my opinion her getting people to pull up to someone’s house with guns and clearly violent intent that’s basically the equivalent to hiring a hit man. All of it very illegal
this dude experienced some of the worst things you can imagine in a 5-6 year stretch and stayed solid through it all. great end to a story and amazing video to cover it🙏🏼
She said out her mouth she was married also said its Travis fault cause he didnt ask if she was. This is important to the story cause it lets you know the chick is a POS. She needs to go to jail to think about her actions.
He showed incredible discipline and judgment. God bless him. Doubt many people could show that level of discipline in that scenario. He picked his life and his brother’s. Un freaking believable coverage as always by Flem. Amazing.
That lawyer pulled out a very clear and consistent testimony that fully outlined a legit self defense claim. I am shocked he was even charged with anything.
I disagree he was charged because the lead detective did a terrible job in her investigation. She had the mindset of believe all women so she discriminated against him because she thought he was a woman beater.
I remember the story of him having lunch, with the special needs kid. I’m not a FSU fan, or follow them (not a conference opponent). But I definitely cheered for Rudolph for the rest of his career, and was shocked when the allegations came out. This video is far deeper than I was anticipating. Thank you, Flemlo.
@@tacotom3492of ALL THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS THAT WENT, WHY WAS RUDOLPH THE ONLY ONE BY THE KID? Usually if it was a stunt many players would be by him. This kind of thing does not happen anywhere near as often you're trying to insinuate.
I remembered the story of him having lunch with the student. Also, thank you for telling the story detail for detail. Now Travis can go and be a productive man in society.
Not to mention his lawyer giving him the aly-oop asking questions that lead him to explaining why he didn't shoot until he did and why he didn't keep shooting after to show the jury that he had great restraint and only fired when he felt he was in danger, and didn't use the firearm as retaliation for having a firearm drawn on him. Great coaching from the lawyer and great execution by him. Idk why people have been having to fight these clear self defense cases
Kind of an underrated part of this story, but I love the way the defense attorney was handling Travis’s testimony. Asking as many questions as possible and trying to get every single detail out on the table, but still letting Travis speak and tell the whole story. A really good job of getting his client’s story and all the details of it out there without it sounding rehearsed or planned.
How does this man not have 1 million+ subscribers? I don’t even pay attention to the NFL outside of my favorite team but and I still tune in every time a video drops.
I know man it's unbelievable. He'll definitely get there. He's gonna be huge and it'll be great because we need more content creators like him. I honestly can't imagine anyone telling this story and many others better than FR does.
I really can’t believe he even got charged The man got threatened. Gets jumped by multiple guys Almost gets run over Has two guns pointed at him And when he finally defends himself and his brother then he’s a murderer Holy shit This man shouldn’t have even been charged. This video literally made me sick What a waste of our justice system They should have charged that woman and the guys that survived VERY VERY CLEAR THAT THIS WAS SELF DEFENSE
Definitely, there’s a huge difference between him and the people lately who have been firing at anyone who steps foot on their property. I wish they could’ve watched this testimony before needlessly taking lives.
@@PizzaHutCEOyou see how insanely he was grilled in a STAND YOUR GROUND STATE, when there are people getting away with shooting people because they looked scary?
Man what absolutely blows my mind is that she sat her ass up there knowing full well she caused this whole damn mess. Not even seeming to care she effected multiple lives in such drastic ways putting this into motion. No remorse, no give a shit, just a smug look.
to be fair we only saw a few clips, unless you watched the whole trial yourself who knows if she shows regret or not, that wasn’t relevant to the story of the video so we don’t know. she should still be held accountable legally for setting this off though no doubt
Man my heart go out to him because his story definitely deserves more attention for real a lot of people would be a lot worse in his position keep on keeping on trav ✊🏽
The absolute worst part of this story is…. Him having to stand trial for this BS! Wasting his time, money, and good name. The nerve of these Prosecutors!!! What’s even worse is that they are allowed to do this with impunity. Never being reprimanded for bringing BS Cases. Thanks Flemlo!!!! You are Awesome.
Why is it bs? 99% of the time these people are guilty and it's gang related. Can't just say oh he Said it's self defense and he's Innocent .get over it
@@edwardcapobianco2975 I believe why it’s B.S. (at least in my opinion). Is that they came to Him Looking for trouble. Not sure what scenario you are imagining in the gang related situation. I also understand other people may have a different opinion. However, I believe that someone has an Absolute right to defend themselves and their home from all people whom may want to cause them harm. I just think we as a society have whittled down people’s rights to defend themselves to such a degree that we see scenarios like (Kyle Rittenhouse). Which was BLATANTLY self defense!!!! Of course these are all just my thoughts and opinions, and you are absolutely free to disagree with them! Thank you so much for your feedback and your thoughts.
they had video and text message evidence that she was the aggressor. Not hard to figure out. And gangs typically don’t go to your house after your gf just got into an argument with you. C’mon man, y’all gotta stop tryna play devils advocate before this situation happens to you or your brother or uncle or even father
@@YoungTCash I believe you are absolutely correct! There was too much evidence of all the things going on, that bringing charges was complete BS! I am completely uncomfortable with the DA’s always “Monday morning quarterbacking” what you “should” have done! Most of them live in wealthy communities where there is little potential for anything like that to happen….. then they have the AUDACITY to punish the people trying to simply LIVE! Simply charging people with a crime is a form of punishment! I just think we need to get back to less questioning of the victims motives and more scrutiny on the perpetrator’s actions! Again my thoughts! But bet if you come to my house, late at night, with 3 other people, looking for problems…. You have a lower likelihood of survival as well! I live in Texas! I am armed! Thanks for your comment @youngTCash
We all know why it went to trial. Black man shoots other black men and this took place in Florida. If Travis Rudolph was white. There never would have been a trial
I love how he tells the story in positive light before it gets dark, he shows and gives the subject a chance to demonstrate better times before trouble. Thanks for keeping it real...
That's why flem is one of the RU-vid goats. He shows the positive and the negative and preaches forgiveness and preaches about how people deserve a chance for redemption.
Ur a real one bro. I can tell u don’t do this JUST for clicks. I can tell u really wanna tell people’s stories. I appreciate that and appreciate u and wish there were more RU-vidrs who did the same.
Bruh! You're supposed to be a sports guy, but your breakdown of why that was a justified self defense shooting was awesome! And yeah, tears when you talked about how he lost his dad... This kid has been through SO much. I pray things turn around for him.
Your videos are better than anything on ESPN. I agree that Travis showed so much restraint at his home where his family were chilling. Dude should of never been charged, charge the woman who put it in motion.
@@Andrewlang90 that only works when no attempted murder occurs, if your acquaintances try to shoot a dude after you uttered desth threats, good luck getting that knocked down to a misdemeanor
I just want to say God bless Travis in his brother and his mom. I hope they get through this. And I hope you have a great life. Also want to give my prayers to the guy who died in the guy who got shot. I know they did wrong but but I hate to see someone die so God bless them to
Great video! That District Attorney’s Office should be ashamed to charge this man with anything. I’ve always hated the idea that criminals (people with criminal intent to harm) can do whatever to you, but your defense must be measured unless you face prison time. Either way, I’m happy that this innocent man was cleared.
So thankful the jury got it right here. This poor man has gone through it. It would have been a travesty to have lost this young man to prison. Being put in prison for a crime I did not commit is one of my nightmares.
I am so glad you reported on this and gave his full story. What his ex did was very wrong, and it cost her not only her relationship, but the lives of others. I think we all as people need to take a step back and realize that our actions can be devistating, even one angry text message can ruin the lives of many. I hope she has some kind of accountibility in the courts, but even if she doesn't, I truly hope that Travis is better now and recovers from all of the negative moments in his life and finds peace.
Your content is some of the best on the internet man. So genuine it's refreshing. Always well thought-out, insightful, empathetic & informative. I almost feel guilty watching it all for free. Any reason you don't have a patreon or paid subscription? Or did I miss it? I'm sure it'd do great. Keep on doing you man. We appreciate it.
@@FlemLoRaps bro you REALLY need to set up a Patreon, you're missing out on a lot of potential support and revenue to help make even better content (which, given how good it already is, I don't think you'll have much trouble getting supporters right away).
@@FlemLoRaps you ever think about getting into politics or current events? Either directly or through commentary? I know it's not as exciting as sports, but you've got a unique way of explaining situations objectively and with compassion that I think would really work there.
i’m impressed with some of the structural changes you’ve made over the years. most notably to me, i think it’s brilliant to mix in “react segments” as sort of a different type of content that still adds to the video. simple ofc but it adds to the video and i think it’s creative
She should be held accountable, but b/c no money was exchanged, she’ll get off free. She won’t even get a slap on the wrist. It’s not considered a “hit” unless money was transferred. Great job Flem, keep up the awesome work!!! And to Travis, I hope success finds you. Watched you at FSU, you deserve another chance. 🤘
As a man I can see exactly how your thinking and knowing any of us could be caught up in this exact situation and why I love your content! Thank you and keep them coming, justice and peace for Travis Rudolph
What an excellent video. Thank you. My heart is broken for TR. He was a wonderful student athlete, and he deserved none of this. I hope he finds a way to make good out of something tragic. I'm so glad he had Dalvin at his side.
Damn man. I hope he enjoys the rest of his life, whatever he does with it. And I hope she faces consequences of some sort. Great story and good work man.
Everything this man's been thru, I respect him. Rip to the guy that died but at the same time, he knew what he was doing and sadly that's what you get. Nice of Bo to come and show his support .
Man you were 1000% right on with your analogy of the situation. The jury thankfully got it right and i hope he gets another shot in football, whether it’s the nfl or cfl, xfl etc. I’m definitely rooting for him.
The way you examine every angle, and give everyone the benefit of the doubt is amazing. I wish journalists put half the effort into their work that you put into your videos.
The sister is the reason all of this happened. There needs to be a law put in place for people like her. She needs to be charged with causing all of this.
I agree, she should be in prison for solicitation of murder or intent to do extreme bodily harm. Travis should definitely file a civil suit against her.
Great job by FlemLO escribing what happened. I didnt know all the details but i watched Travis play at FSU and knew enough about him to believe he didnt coimmit a crime. He was great on the stand. I also remember the accidental firearm discharge that killed his dad; this video helped me remember.
Prayers and thoughts to Travis and his family. I'm glad he was found not guilty... Hopefully he lands somewhere and flem can update this story with a more positive ending.
Man I was wondering what happened to Travis. I’m glad you did this story justice. I didn’t know all this happened but I’m glad the jury found him innocent. She really is a trash individual.
White cop here. Dude was protecting himself. I pray for him and his family to recover from all their recent tragedies and live happy full lives. That woman should be charged.
Flemlo, you did it again man. This is excellent commentary! I had the same thoughts about the stand your ground law when you mentioned it… unbelievable it even got to the point of him being charged for murder when this was all going down in FL at HIS residence!
You know what, FlemLo, I absolutely love and respect highly you and the way you always seek to place value on life and on other people. You’re the man! You always have my love, respect, and support. This was an excellent video, bro. I’m so glad you take the time to do videos like this. This was so well put together. Thanks again, brother.
I get he wanted to end the situation and talk to those guys but man if your side piece says she will get you killed then 4-5 men show up DON’T GO OUTSIDE!! But I’m glad he was able to neutralize the threat and get off free.
I think it's very reasonable for a man to get the threat off his property of they're at the door in a threatening manner... When you look at all the circumstances surrounding the shooting, it wasn't murder.
Travis clearly wanted to talk this out. He was going to have to deal with her brother and his cohorts eventually or be looking over his shoulder every time he stepped outside.
His brother had already went out and was arguing with the dudes. He woke up to the argument. He grabbed his shit put it by the door and came outside. He knows her brother. In his mind he probably thought he could talk with dude. They had a relationship. Once he went out it was a fight. Would you have left your brother outside?
Great story. Told it like it was. I’m happy the way things turned out for Travis. His ex should be in jail for conspiracy to commit murder and premeditated assault. Again, awesome channel, great storytelling and loved every bit of it.
Yo little bro I appreciate the work you putting out there, Letting the world know that it's going to come a time when you have to stand your ground. No matter how ugly it may seem. It's going to be times where you have to do things you don't want to do to just survive. This story you put out there, it will change somebody life. Because of the steps a person have to take to come out of a situation that should never happen but it did and he survive. Now it's a damn shame someone lost their life. All because a bad breakup.. she put her brother and his friends in a situation. Now a life is gone.. it's sad to hear s*** like, but he put his self in that situation to lose his life. She should be going to jail, and the rest of them who anticipated in that bad act a violence.
This just proves that some people can see the facts as they are. It was clear to me that this was self defense and obviously the jury saw and heard the same thing. The lady involved will have to live with the fact that her actions resulted in someone losing their life because of her actions. Well done as usual Flemlo! 👍🏿😎
Thank you for sharing this, I never knew about this story and I'm glad that you shined the light on his life, you are an amazing guy and I love watching your videos and I love this guy, he was definitely being a responsible gun owner, like you said, professionals make mistakes too, I love this kid and if he gets a chance in either of the spring leagues please let us know, im definitely a fan of him now and I'm definitely a fan of yours, you have some awesome stories and that is why I watch you, may both of y'all have lots of success.
Thankful he is innocent - he had every right to defend his family - as you said - showed restraint throughout. Will pray for Travis and his family to persevere.
Your commentary IS EVERYTHING!! The visuals in the story ON POINT AND FACTUAL !! You re-telling a story FREAKING FLAWLESS!!! Been watching you over 5 years APPLAUSE APPLAUSE FlemLo.
The way you explained that the attackers shouldn’t be able to decide when the threat begins and ends was perfect. The government keeps giving more rights to criminals while taking them away from good people.
Man there’s a short video going around talking about the Travis and how he went from eating with that kid at his school to being a “murderer” with no background or context. SMH. This is why we got flemlo 💯🔥 keep it up.
My man did what he supposed to do, i even think he held more restraint then most ppl in that situation would. He defended himself which is not only legal but our god given right. God Bless this man and hopefully he gains the strength to overcome.
I can't tell you how happy I am that he got cleared of those charges. Those guys should have never been there. At the very least, they were there to jump him. We have seen countless people die from "just" being hit a few times. If they weren't there for trouble, why did they bring guns and jump him? No sympathy for would-be killers, and I'm happy justice was served twice to them and then to Travis Rudolph. Then, this is also a big precedence case for self-defense for citizens. If this had been a cop, no one would have questioned them in this situation like you said. Since it was just a normal guy, though, people were mad. Because of this case, hopefully more innocent people trying to protect themself and others can be saved from prosecutors who don't care for the actual people involved that just want another notch on their belt. His legal battle may be over but those scars are going to remain. Mental and career wise. You touched on this at the end and it was perfect. Every late night knock will have him wondering if someone's come for revenge. Even with him being cleared, teams may still not want a guy with those stories on their team even though he acted lawfully. Could this have been avoided by him not opening the door? Maybe. What really could have avoided this though was armed would-be killers *not* showing up to his door like hitmen. If they're never there that night, they're perfectly fine.
I haven't watched your videos in a long time my man and the quality of videos have always been super high and well respected to the people involved. I'm glad to hear he's innocent over defending himself. I feel for him going forward and hope that peace comes his way sooner than later
Don’t think you could’ve delivered this one any better. I was rived, perfectly narrated, U knew when to shut up and let the story play out in the courtroom. Totally agree with your take on this one. One of your best videos.
Great video man! I remember watching a video about this guy a while back and they didn’t go into detail about what happened at all, I just remember coming away from that video thinking he murdered someone.
I've been subscribed for about two years now, I just felt the need to say that you're my favorite creator on the platform. You always portray these stories objectively but you never fail to take an empathetic approach to telling them. You have a gift man!!
His testimony is powerful! The video of 4 guys on the porch and he walks out to try and deescalate the situation. I am glad he was acquitted and hopefully he can resume his life. As usual the female who incited the event will almost assuredly walk free, that's the real crime
Your one of my favorite creators of all time. Better breakdowns than tv reporters! Keep up the good work, look forward to every post. Thank you for sharing these powerful stories.
Flemlo, you remind me a lot of my dad. The way you approach your life with your family and yourself are so similar and it’s something I admire deeply and love seeing here. It makes me happy that I know your family is surrounded by an amazing person who would do what it takes to protect and provide for them. Also, great content!
I've followed this for a while. Was so happy when the verdict was handed. Just watching the camera footage there shouldn't have been any charges. Wish nothing but the best in this young man's life. Side note exgf. Should be brought on charges because she is 100% the reason this happened.
My man said, did you do your best that day. That's an important question. He maintained his composure in an highly intense situation as best he could. It's unfortunate, another chick leading men astray in a lie. I'm happy they let him walk. The slip and not freaking out and wild firing, told me everything i needed to know. Crazy story. Great job bud.
