First of all, the band sounds phenomenal. But I also love watching your reactions to the singing. That last note in So Much Better could have been so much better lol.

I’m lucky enough to do this professionally. I MD’d it 3 years ago and playing keys again next week. Love this show, Best job in the world !!!

Loved watching you here. My God you're a good player ... that looks such a difficult musical musically yet you seem to know it backwards, in and out lol ... I don't play keyboards other than very simple things but I can tell. Do you play professionally Michael or were you a student there when this was taken? Just curious. OH I wish there was a part 2 too but I won't ask. lol ... Ah ok, just found your website so that answers that question but wow, hadn't realised before that was you conducting and playing on the Les Miz one ... my favourite musical bar none that one. :)

What do you have on your laptop other than a keyboard layout and the time or a timer and presumably that's another keyboard player behind it? I can see a few inches poking out to the right of your piano. :)

He has a couple buttons for his foot pedal (Logidy UMI3) on the screen, and the patches on the left. There’s a keyboard player on his right and then the K1/conductor (me) in front of him on a podium.

I was the MD! If I remember correctly Michael played this on a Roland RD700. It’s being run through Mainstage on his Macbook. (All 3 of the keyboards were using mainstage)
