Marlo seems like one of those women who is so shady and cocky In public but goes to bed and cry herself to sleep at night because she's really unhappy.

Marlo is so pretty...and she clearly loves fashion...yet, she's not refined or tempered in a way that true women of "style" are when we look back to extraordinary black style icons like Ophelia Devore, Maxine Powell, or Eunice Johnson. With Marlo, I never really get a sense for anything of depth, meaning, or vast cosmopolitan knowledge of the world at large, which you always find within someone who possesses style. Their style is informed beyond the label, they are true Rennaissance women. Oh well, she wears clothes well and this cocktail dress is perfect for her. A+ on the aesthetic.
