All the Boutique range of synths that have lots of knobs and sliders are THE most value synths ever created in history. To have this much hands on control, extremely high quality sound (ACB), hot pro preamp output stage, plus emulations of old analog gear...all for the price of a Casio toy. AMAZING!!!

I love the size as well, looks right at home next to the Dreadbox synths and POs and the iPad synths, I don’t know why I didn’t think about getting this line before. I absaloutely love this synth! Most semi Modular’s that I like I usually buy 2 because it’s double everything, like the JD 08 I have the SH4D and an Integra 7, so I’ve really thinking about getting the boutique sh 01a but I think first I want the 4MSMeta, my Modular is getting more virtual all the time and I believe will be the future of synths and I have a few semi modular Behringer again 2 if I really like it, that rule only applies to semi-Modular’s I want sh5 remake too, there has NEVER been this many great synths all at one time! Let alone the Modular ability to phatten everything up is so awesome!

Okay, you can all thank me for this synth release. A few years before this synth appeared I wrote Roland a letter stating you keep recreating vintage Roland analog synths in digital form; why not recreate the greatest digital synth with all tactile control in digital form? They did in Boutique form, not what I was hoping for, but it is here anyway for all of us to enjoy. You're welcome :)

the 8 is upside down :D on a serious note, that 90's intro was spot on. I'm still waiting for there to be a big revival. All of the modern stuff sounds a bit too clean and clear.

Mate ive got over 1200 90s to 2000 trance midi files I found years ago from Armin Van Burren, Faithless, BT, Chicane to Testio and everyone between. Gives a shout if you want them buddy!

Good work again starsky! Its a shame they did not incorporate the 8 rom and wave cards that roland produced. Would have been nice if they included the original 8 rom and wave cards. The strings card goes for the price of this boutique on its own 🙀

There's loads of memory on this but it would be good to have a librarian. Shame the presets aren't interchangeable with the original as well
