It's because of this video that we upgraded from the Tree House villa to the One Bedroom pool villa. We wanted to easily connect with family from all over the world who will all be there for our son's wedding. We realized after watching this video that the wedding ceremony happens right outside the back gate! Your kids totally made this video, they are so funny!

I visited Boracay (aka Aklan) way way way back in 1997 and although it was very nice, my trip was far from what you guys are enjoying. So here is my burning question. MD fam you have to tell me what you doled out for your 4 day stay at that resort. I and I'm sure many of your subscribers are dying to know what that experience would cost me one of these days. I know! I was getting homesick and missing my family in California. So happy she came out. She did not have to get vaccination to visit. Just make sure to fill out that information online and get a QR code to enter the Philippines. I think everyone has to do that. It’s easy just takes time to fill out info.

Our stay at a Shangri-la on Mactan Island, we saw workers in the late afternoon digging a big hole in the beach. They were turning the sand to keep it fresh and clean. You also would find security standing around the resort kind of hidden by bushes or trees. My wife wanted me to experience the place and her relatives couldn't believe it - you are paying how much to just sleep in their bed ? My wife's Aunt said ok, two days is enough get back to my house. We didn't have our own condo or home yet and she was very frugal - tight is more the word i'm looking for.

I Stayed for 10 days once at 1k pesos per day. This was less than a hundred meters from the beach and it was rocking. Lots of folks there and lively. walked around and found where laundry and best places to eat at budget prices. Dont think those days will ever be back. Only thing then was hard packed sidewalks and electric wires crossing them to the sandy beach for lighting...enjoyed living like a native and stopping by to get buko juice etc..Took jeepney and van to the different stations and talked to natives on where to go and what to do

Dennis age 81 is a little jealous right now. I still couldn't play the Miss Manalo video but that is ok. We were in Boracay a dozen or more years ago in Jan. There was an International Kite Boarding contest going on, my first time to see that. I love animals and it hurts my heart to see how they are ignored by many Filipino's. At our little resort a couple local dogs would come to our little cottage so I, of course had to feed them something. I saw a cat walking around the pool and trying to lean over to get a drink but the water was too low. He tried at several places and could not get a drink - so I took a bowl of water and put it under one of the pool chairs and watched until the cat found the water. That made my trip there worth while. Animals first, stupid people not so much. If you want to show off the PI, Boracay is the place to do it.

lol🤭😂Yea pricey but every cent is worth it. You get what you pay for AND MORE! There are some places you pay that much and you don’t get enough value. But here it’s so different. If you save to splurge here, I promise you will get WAY more than what you paid for. The service, the food, the location and the insane amenities. WOW! It’s all worth it! 10 out of 10!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Like it but sadly Boracay doesn't have a route that completely avoids Manila from the United States. That is not the case in Cebu you can actually reach the United States by flying towards the Middle East and the more common options are Taipei Singapore Hong Kong Seoul Incheon Shanghai Pudong and Tokyo Narita on PR434.

Four days seems like the minimum time to really enjoy a resort like that. If you are going to spend the money then stay long enough to really enjoy your stay.
