Looking back 32 years ago Border was the best captain around : decision making, field placing, getting match to draw instead of losing, or winning matches from close situations. Australia was playing well till this series. They were on way to be WC champion again in 1991. But Gulf War happened and the South Africa cricket team appeared in November 1991. Bowling and Fielding standards just notched up after that. Then Bob Woolmer n John Buchanan transformed Cricket in 1990s like nobody could.
