1987 Tigers and Blue Jays..... don't get enough history... They were the two best teams in baseball.. they knocked each other out

"Bless You Boys" was produced by Curtis Gadson, a.k.a. the host of WDIV's "Saturday Night Music Machine".

So WDIV used Bless You Boys (for the 1984 Detroit Tigers) first, _not_ WWL (for the New Orleans Saints)?

Al Ackerman said it sarcastically in '83, after the Tigers broke a losing streak. After the 35-5 strt, it took on a new meaning.
