its only a thing 80 & 90s babies will understand. i don't think iv sat down and watched a game in the last 8+ years. The cricket was that good back in the day we use to have watch parties all would sit down cook a huge feed for everyone with some drinks. good times, its 110% not the same anymore no disrespect to the current generation
@@ShamsulAlam-yz4mi No i mean, Mcgrath with mindful bowling with less pace than Brett Lee brings better results...Hope now am looking at the record & talking...
@@ShamsulAlam-yz4mi Your greatness in life will be determined on your selection of the mentor. If you choose mediocre mentor you cant expect tobe a great achiever. Your approach has to be like a champion. So if you are fan of somebody make sure nobody is better than them in that domain...incase you want to achieve success.
Abe wo aisi australia thi ki jb ham log match dekhte the to sidhe yhi bolte the kis team ka match dekh rhe ho jeetna yellow jersy ko he h 😝😝😝😝saamne koi bhi ho😂😂😂😂
Those were the days! A legendary era of cricket. Lots of legends like Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid, Murali, Warne, Brett Lee, Sangakarra, Mahela etc etc. The best childhood memory of every 90s kid😎
@@White742 Pakistan team is known for their bowling prowess!! The fault here is the lack of sporty pitches throughout the cricketing nations. Games are tilting towards batting more or less so that's a shame. Tbh the Eng pitches in recent years are flat than ever..
We could see pigeon more often in Australian grounds those days, even i don't know what happened we can't see them nowadays and watching matches in Australia and NZ were really amazing.
Back when bowlers actually had a chance with reverse swing and movement. Now, its all about flat tracks and big bats. When was the last time ball seem or swung in an ODI?
Back in those days Anderson was so naive and now he so experienced and one of the legends of the game it's interesting to see such transition how people change and improve all along
Rawalpandi express and brett lee they are one of the best fast bowlers in cricket history. still no one can beat them and bowl like them..90s era is best part of cricket 😎Thank u for the memories..
This is the brand of cricket which we all love from the mighty Australians.......expecting a very very tough competition from the mighty aussies in d upcoming WC2019
2001 2002 2003 it was the golden time of cricket when cricket was not a baseball, that true essence, that feeling for 1st love for cricket........skills and temprement were tested, bowlers like brett lee , bond firing in, players like vivan showed enormus skills, players firing in to evolve new skills, batsman were originally tested.... T20 cricket destroyed it all... That is why I always hate british....
That's kinda ignorant of you there's still a lot of good cricket watch, It's very different now but that doesn't mean it's bad. Although I do agree that those days were better.
When Brett's eye was in, it was dangerous. We've seen him literally chew up the batting order to win matches. He had accuracy paired with his speed. Deadly
Brett Lee on his day could just destroy the batting line of any team. He had the ability to change the complexion of the game in just few overs. His swinging yorkers were killers!
I miss those days of cricket..when fast bowling had so much respect. Am sick of seeing 350+ being scored so often these days with pitches becoming so flat, new ball rule that has virtually erased reverse swing in ODIs, fast bowlers leaking 90+ runs so often, etc.
Facts - Brett Lee made his Test debut against India in 1999. Brett Lee had an impressive debut, picking up 7 wickets in the Test, including a 5 wicket haul in the first innings. He was the first Australian bowler since Dennis Lillee to pick up a five wicket haul on debut. Brett Lee won the inaugural Don Bradman young player of the year award for his outstanding performances in 1999 to 2000 season. In 7 matches he played, he picked up an incredible tally of 42 wickets, the most by an Australian bowler for the same number of matches played. Brett Lee was at his lethal best in the 2003 World Cup. He ended up with 22 wickets in the tournament, sitting second on the list of most number of wickets in the tournament. It included a lethal hattrick against the Kenyans in a super six match. He was named as one of the 5 Wisden Cricketers of the year for his performances. He had a dream series in England, and in the process became the first bowler ever to take more than one 5-wicket haul at Lord’s. In 2007, Brett Lee became the first ever person to take a T20 hattrick, which came against Bangladesh. In 2011 CWC he had a great tournament, despite Australia being knocked out of the tournament in the quarterfinals. He ended the tournament as Australia’s highest wicket taker, with 13 wickets. He ended up playing 76 Tests, 221 ODIs, and 25 T20Is. He is one of the few selected players to have taken 300+ wickets in both the formats and at 380 wickets, he is the second highest wicket taker for Australia in ODIs. Happy Birthday Brett Lee 😊😊 Love you Sir 😍😍
Australia had one of the best Squad in the world Cricket, have never seen such a dominating side after that. Real credit goes to Ricky Ponting (My Childwood Enemy & Hero)
Here is one mistake that Australia would never do with a batsman on the non-striker. If the playing batter has missed a ball and left his crease, the intelligent thing for the non-striker is to run to that end. since its hard to break stride the hit wicket would have saved Anderson and 3 balls and 5 runs would be the need of that moment. BRETT LEE man! Whoa! Inspiring. Lethal and Majestic. Astounding mate.
How times have changed. Now England are the world champions and they even scored almost 500 in an ODI against Aussies :)Not to forget the hammering in 2019 WC semis.
@@White742 oh come on buddy.... 2000s Ausis team was a beast..... I remember at that time winning against Australia team is almost equal to winning a world cup... Yes today's team is good team but you can't compare them with those legendary players
@@White742 that australian 11 was and will always be the best team in history of cricket . Today's kids who considers themselves as no.1 batsmen or bowler are nothing in front of this team.
I still remember this match played at mcg 27th Jan 2003 2nd final.. When Freddie and colly were playing and look like they were cruising then suddenly a storm came and get rid of Freddie stumps and sad story to the English went onto loose the match by 5runs
