@@lj4daniel70Nope, he bowled 140 plus more often in this series. Did you notice the meter which says 140, 142, he even bowled 146 k.m as well. I wish he plays 100 Tests and remains fit. He is a gem of a bowler. Wickets, pace, economical, everything he has.
Sudipta Das Don’t know about that mate lol. Australia were not in form and remember this was the time when Warner and Smith were out with bans and Australia did not have a set team yet. They brought in lots of young guys also. I mean they still played quite well but India were always destined to win this one.
@@gnaneshk7505 Friend, in case you know, kindly reply if they hinted in commentary or anywhere, the fact that the slowish yorker was Rohit Sharma's idea.
TheDark Knut At Melbourne airport when they were on the way to Sydney and I was on my way back to Wa, I got to sit next to Pujara, and had a little conversation with Kohli, dream come true
The slow yorker to Marsh is surely one of the greatest deliveries ever. First the timing. Shaun Marsh who has batted for 60 deliveries already and would clearly just defend or leave the last ball before lunch. The planning. Bring in a short cover as bluff and bowl a slow ball, the least expected delivery when defending. And finally the execution. A yorker is hard enough to bowl. To bowl a indipping slow yorker, probably the first time in that innings is sheer magic.
The short cover as Bumrah explained was there because he & Rohit planned on bowling a slower full ball outside off stump to drive where he would get beaten by the change in pace & pop an easy catch to that short cover fielder. But Bumrah got that slower ball a bit closer towards the stumps than what he intended but Marsh got beaten by the change of pace & was caught in front. I think he bowled a better delivery than what he planned on doing. No batter is playing that.
Great prospect. I would prefer if the fans and media do not hype him up though. Too many promising prospects were snuffed out in the Indian wheel of pace bowling mediocrity. Bumrah looks great and has all the makings of a complete, potentially excellent test bowler. One match at a time, lad!
It's better if he doesn't play a Test in India. Many promising Indian pacers lost their pace and rhythm by bowling on flat Indian pitches. Let's hope Bumrah lives up to his potential.
I still remember him coming in Chennai for training under mrf foundation.. that time he is nothing.. no one even knows him .. but he is a good guy .. 🙏🤗.. good player .. 💥🔥
Come on man. Malinga changed the perception of yorkers way before him. I dont think Bumrah would have been as lethal had he not shared the dressing room with Malinga for M.I.
@Harsh Tiwary thanks bhai or jo log prhe likhe hain jinko achi tarbiat hai wo sochte hain, wese sabko sahi ghalat ka pata hota hai lakin kuch log sahi ko follow krte hain or kuch log desh bakht ya muhib e watan banke negativity phelate hain ese stupid logon ko samjha b nhi skte lakin unke comments se door hi rehna chahye

bumrah has been such a great asset to every team he's played...we all wish him a great future ahead and hope he becomes another legendary bowler in the history of cricket💯🇮🇳
Bumrah is world class and as good as anyone past or present. And the great news is that by all accounts he's recovering well from injury and will be back playing again soon. Though not great news if you're a batsman.
That's just priceless.... When I hear the words "Jasprit Bumrah" I remember this dismissal.. And now of recent Ollie Robinson dismissal in 2nd test at Lords
Bumrah shami Ishant Sharma/shiraj/Bhuvneshwar ashwin made indian bowling attack top class same like Aussies/proteas/Windies . Hats off superb attacking bowling putting Aussies in backfoot in there own backyard. Gone are the days when Aussies pilling runs and giving inning defeats. Amazing bowling attack
I watched some slow yorker ball videos, in which I realised that it's done by either specialist fast bowlers (like Brett Lee and Lasith Malinga) or by slow medium pacers (like Bravo and Pollard). Note that Jasprit Bumrah is considered to be a medium fast bowler ( although he has bowled 153 kph in Adelaide test in 2018! ) I think that the moment at which Bumrah has bowled Marsh was incredible (in case I'm not mistaken, it is the last ball of the First session). Also, it is an astonishing, completely unexpected slowish yorker which Marsh didn't even dream of (Marsh's face says it all...). Geniuses and specialists like Shane Warne and Muralitharan have innate spinning quality, but not just that. They make enough use of the rough patches wide along the pitch edges (as Warne in case of Mike Gatting and Andrew Strauss) which is a decisive factor in such deliveries. Basically pitch was one important factor apart from bowler's skills. But if a bowler is able to perfectly direct the ball using his pace variations and without any help from the pitch, that's exactly what we call an INCREDIBLE delivery. Moreover, Shaun Marsh is so much frustrated that it further elevates the importance of this delivery. At least I haven't seen any batsman so frustrated as Marsh here. Friends, you may not agree the above. Anyway. I'm certainly sure that directing the ball with such accurate mix of pace and direction is not at all easy for any pace bowler, including Bumrah. So I think this delivery is no less than bowling it once in a lifetime. To me, the Jasprit Bumrah slower yorker LBW to Shaun Marsh is the ball of this century. Simply impossible, unbelievable and incredible !!! 😙😙😙🙏🙏🙏😄😊
@Samir Mandal Perfectly pointed, friend. We people can understand how gruesome task it is to bowl a perfect slowish yorker. First thing - You must mislead the batsman by bowling some bouncers or good length deliveries. After having trapped the batsman in this belief, then out of nowhere, the bowler must have the impeccable skill to bowl that perfect slowish yorker to which any batsman will be left clueless. Considering the execution and finesse of this strategy and most importantly that Bumrah is not an express fast bowler, I feel that this ball is no less than the ball of this century.
Amazing, love this kid, incredible bowling action, so hard to pick, can move the ball, has plenty of tricks in the bag, great variation. He’s gonna be an all time great fast bowler. - from an Aussie.
When did he become a legend?? Yet to show his class with utmost consistency and longevity. But let's see how his body responds in the upcoming years. Certainly a big asset to watch out for.
Amazing skill level. There is potential for greatness in this lad. Fitness will be the key because in terms of bowling intelligence and the level of skill (as amply shown here) he is very good. Good fast bowlers excite me because it proves that test cricket is in good health!
He's a perfect bowler. He has yorker, bouncer, slower ball, short ball, length balls and also swing and sometimes reverse swing and seam. A complete bowler.
If kohli is GOLD with Bat ,Bumrah Is GOLD with Ball. I think Bumrah is one of great discovery in bowling department for indian cricket in last 3 decade.
Bumrah failed in Nz ,he is called overrated by aus fans. Warne failed in ind ,but called greatest leg spinner ever by aus fans.😀😀 Moral of the story :Every player has some failure , along the journey to greatness.
@@princepeter4493 it's always been the case. I don't knowwhy they call him overrated. Maybe not in form ATM, but he seems like he going to be India greatest fast bowler.
he comes back from injury at that time and he plays only 2 test matches in Newzealand in 2nd test match he's in the form he takes cool *Williamson* wicket but *Indian batsmen failed to score enough runs on the board.* that's why India loses the 2 match test series in Newzealand
OK!!!! enyoing dis came here after watching the Delta Parole musicvideos they drop new one. Loveing dis video, after song pumpin me up for dem gym time bro!!!!
After 10 years when someone will search for performance of history's greatest bowler , he or she will find this video along with many of his other upcoming bowling performances !!!!
This was the best series of bumrah. 👏😊 I am Very sad that Aussies loose but it was great job by bumrah!! 👍👍 but now just can't wait for upcoming series against both of the teams 😧
@@sreeharsha9800 how much time ??? Warner didn't play for 1.5 years and came in ipl look what he done
@Dewansh Squad RU-vidr That's true. It's relatively much easier for a batsman to get back to his usual rhythm and finesse. However, bowler requires some months' time to adjust himself into the scheme of things.
India me bahot time ke baad itna legendary bowler mila hai....hoping in future apne Bharat me aisehi bowlers milate rahe. Bumrah is more accurate bowler.
i still remember Johnson's insta post on 1st day of this test depicting very flat pitch for this match. Bumrah made this match for us. Proud on you brother.
