I've been into "cars" since I was a young kid. Seeing stuff like this just makes me think "Man I love cars". 20 years later, got the senior scrapbook and everything.
The peak Honda-tech years, I miss forums being that good and active. This makes me want to dust off my turbo Honda thats been sitting neglected a few years.
@@richardrobinson9534 its time to hunt for a ef eg or crx while theyre still obtainable , they gonna follow the supras and gtr's in pricing really soon
@@AnonymousPerson-h5z yeah sucks, all my crxs cost like 5 to 800 bucks, paid 1,809 for the ek and 2,500 for my 91 mark III. I've seen a 91 mark III local and they wanted like 17k lmao these people are crazy.
Oh nice a 210 Brother. Thank you for serving as a Fire Fighter and saving lives. The fact you used a 5th Gen Prelude is awesome, hands down they are the coolest looking Honda(The 99-00 EM1 SI a close second). The H22 community is not a big one so the fact you stayed with it is honorable. You converted your FWD 5th Gen Prelude into an AWD is amazing too, I mean you bought it from a company, but still that's freaking rare and cool. Congratulations on your success thus far and I hope it continues.
@@whyumadtho355 I haven't seen near as much content about it as I have seen about The B18 or K20 series. I'm glad that it's not small, it makes it easier for people to get parts. The JDM 220hp H22 is a cool engine as well.
My 5th gen was one of my favorite cars ever. Still one of the best looking handas ever made in my eyes. Thanks for keeping it alive and WELL DONE!!! Proper engineering and ingenuity is always inspiring.
Man this is such a great story!! Props Aaron Lopez 👏 u made it all happen with your transmission bell housing!! 💯 thank you for your knowledge 🙏 we are able to push our limits 🔥 💪
Idk why people say "sorry to say" or feel off about being associated with the Fast movement of the mid 2000s. It kickstarted the car scene in America super hard and None of us would be where we are today without it.
ive actually followed aarons car since day 1. before i had fast gtr's, i had hondas and i remember seeing his car at world cup in 2014-15 and falling in love . i still have my highschool civic. b20 swap, custom ground cams, turbo, made 400whp in 2002 and it was aarons car and a few others on the forums that really got me hooked. hes such a cool dude im glad i got to hear his full story!
Literally the best car video concept ever! Send them(or let them use their) cameras/gopros… have them do all the talking(maybe send cliff notes)… Have that bad ass send the content back to you and “simply”edit it down… Absolutely genius!!!! This was an awesome episode! Thank you, this was a great one to watch! Makes me wish I hade documented any part of my life like this man did! lol
This guy is a legend. Journeyman by the age of 14! This completely captivated me from start to finish. A real treat to listen to. So much knowledge and composure.
FANTASTIC, it was amazing to see you and your team win on street outlaws. I also have a 800+ whp fifth gen prelude, the few h22. Thank you for all that you have done for the platform that i love and have loved from the age of 15. 22 years ago i drove a fourth gen prelude and i was hooked. I have been to WCFinals 4 times your car moves lol. Looking forward to my own s1 kit and your beautiful billet bellhousing. In time.
5th gen Preludes are the best looking FWD car Honda has ever made, change my mind. I've moved onto faster RWD cars but the Prelude is really an awesome and very underrated car.
I feel like we've moved to a point where anyone remotely into cars is pretty cognizant that there are many different platforms that can be fast and that absolutely includes Hondas (especially since AWD conversions became popular). The camps still exist, but I've never seen greater respect between camps than I do now and it's great.
In 2001 I had a 1993 h23 and a 1994 h22 I miss both should have never sold them I remember using forms to do things to my car before fast and furious I remember getting to park my 93 on the sidewalk for the From Premier. Of Fast and Furious .
Is he close to topping out top speed wise? Because that stock gearing has the car running out of mph around 160 something? I get big tire and rpm can add mph but he has to be pretty close to running out of gear.
