The Lancaster and Fleetwood MP, Cat Smith has put her best foot forward to lend her support to the Ways Around The Bay initiative to encourage more people to be active around Morecambe Bay.
As part of the Bay Lines - Beach of Dreams project commissioned by Morecambe Bay Partnership, Cat Smith has 'adopted' her mile - one of 120 miles 'claimed' by locals to tell stories and share hopes and dreams for the future of these special stretches of coast. The mile chosen by Cat is Knott End esplanade and here you can see her chat to podcaster and journalist Nigel Thompson about why this place is special to her.
