Definitely old 16mm video cameras have some cool cinematic character lenses that will give to your videos a special warmth and feel, but many times these days can be pretty expensive and not in good shape.
You have to be careful because because of the age and conditions the glass inside the lenses can be full with dust even mushrooms than the aperture & focus ring can be stocked or very hard as the grease inside is full with dust and aged.
And lastly but not least try not confound C-mount or CS-mount with D-mount, D-mount is used on 8mm film cameras and D-mout is way to small for Canon Eosm & Magiclantern even in the highest crop...
