Wow I loved that song you wrote and performed at the open mic and I really love the section of the beginning of the video. It’s incredibly haunting, spiritual and resonates with me. That’s the mystery of music, you can’t really describe (well I don’t have the words) and I guess, there is no need to as long as it aligns with you spiritually because music is spiritual. Your experimenting and journey is incredible, as a life, we are born, we learn, we grow and we develop like a wild flower and we go on to bloom then reach our peak. The journey continues as we decline, gently but our experiences and knowledge radiates from the petals of our life as they drop to the ground…. a sequence that is natural in every sense and there is a time and a place for everything but we must live this life in the moment. It’s ok though to reminisce on the good and look forward to good things…and when this 3/4 phase of life is done, the last quarter is of course death… not to be feared, but a time of review, of judgement of not just the bad but the good also …. Then rest as everything we have done settles and prepares the ground, enriches the soil preparing for new life and as that life springs upwards towards the light … it carries with it, intrinsically, a vestige of what we were and the goodness of what we were will be celebrated. This is my interpretation of life, it never ends, it is a circle, it just moves on and so gives hope and meaning and purpose, wonder and joy …. I’m sorry, I’m an old 59 year ADHD man I ramble on and go off on tangents but I write my thoughts down, inspired by what I witness. The last thing I’d like to say is your music reminds me of that of a guitarist in the 60’s and 70s, Jim Croce… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AnWWj6xOleY.htmlsi=rM5pASKNibBtDAZx
Some of the greatest artists to have lived called it channeling. They open themselves up to the universe and it just speaks through them. Respect and love...
Good job....you've found your flow...habits and rituals build the momentum. What a rich and pleasant outcome for the soul. You have inspired me to pick up my guitar again. 🎸
Thank you for the inspiration! I’ll have my mom’s guitar by the end of this year, will start playing again and maybe write a song or two. Thanks so much for making me realize that everything has humble beginnings. If you don’t start somewhere, you’ll never start at all… can’t wait to start again!
