Please use better quality captures for the Miyazaki games. It makes them look way worse than they actually are, which kinda defeats the purpose of showing an evolution.

The Kings Field series is the most important game series they have produced, if it wasn't for those games we wouldn't have Demons Souls. We all know the story afterwards! Although I would say that the shadow tower series was pretty important to, the second game was just plain wack xD
If it wasn't for Japan Studio we wouldn't have Demon Souls, the project that started the Dark Souls series. If it wasn't for Japan Studio we wouldn't have Bloodborne, the project that provided FromSoft with the game engine used for THREE of their most successful games, two of which won GOTY. Miyazaki owes a lot to that Studio...
@@Hear.myvoice Uh no. GRRM wrote the lore and built the world, which includes the concept of the Elden Ring that the title comes from. The Elden Ring is his creation. Miyazaki wrote the story. You should probably know what you're talking about before trying to correct someone.
@@jsullivan2112 I meant the lore under the word "story" 💀 But if you don't know how gaming industry works you shouldn't talk about it the title wasn't George's idea. You just explained it why because the main storyline came from Miyazaki and he is the game director.
Elden Ring is the GOAT bro!!!!! It brought so many non souls players to this style of play. It is truly evolutionary considering this is now the standard of greatness
I grew up poor and i remember one of the very first games my dad got me. Eternal ring on ps2. I think i got it from gamestop for about $3 or $5 and i played it a lot. I still remember the price tag on the front of the box and i remember the box art too

After the new Armored Core game, I hope Fromsoft goes back to making first person RPG fantasy again, currently only Bethesda is doing it(AAA wise) and their Elder Scroll series only come out once every 10 years or so. I'm sure the market is thirsty for this type of game.

I remember playing a vast majority of those games. Especially the ones that came out back in 1996. I thought it was strange when I played them that they never fixed one issue.
I really enjoyed and love the video! It's incredible how FromSoftware Games has made great number of games and how much their technology has evolved to make even greater games.
Looking at these, i've pretty much convinced their games aren't my cup of tea, cept for Sekiro and AC6. But would love them to do a Metal Gear Rising game.
When i see how they like mecha and how their games are awesome it would be really incredible if they make a "Rengoku" game for pc and console for those who know what it is

The graphical leap once we hit Elden Ring is staggering. There really was a generational jump around 5 years ago, anything before then is easily dated. Video games really are hard to ignore now, the fidelity really is phenomenal.
Yes, I had problems editing and the clips got mixed up. I am already working on a remake of this video to correct the errors, have a better editing quality and upload it in 4k.
