Welcome to my channel! In this video I play the front 9 at Tobacco Road! How low can I go? I hope you guys enjoy the video! Tobacco Road Golf Club website: tobaccoroadgol...
I like the zoomed in on approaches. I know it’s more work, but a little circle around the ball or some other indicator (ex Zac Radford emoji finger) of where to look on the screen is still super helpful! I missed the ball on the hole 2 shot
One of my favorite all-time courses! I had the good fortune to play this shortly after it opened around 1998. I've moved away since and I greatly miss this place.
Great golf Kyle. Love your content. Just a note. Lactic acid doesn't exist in the human body. The term was retired in the mid 2000s. The modern term is lactate. It's actually a fuel used by our muscles. It's not what cause the pain during intense exercise. That's believed to be from hydrogen ions. That's also not what causes the pain the next day after a speed session. Your next day pain is straight up DOMs (Delayed onset muscle soreness). With your swing speed, you're obviously causing significant muscle damage. Even with adequate protein intake you're unlikely to be fully recovered in 24 hrs. More than likely full recovery and super compensation would take 72hrs as a natural athlete. Hope that helps.
Great to hear more competitive non long drive events as we see your golf non long drive career evolve. That being said looking forward to your fourth world championship this year.
That was cool to watch. Thanks for sharing. I prefer the shot tracer over the zoom cut, but the zoom is a nice feature for interesting greens. Keep up the great work.
Zoom is great but the explanation is even better!! I'm thinking of a fun idea where you rewatch and cut all the audio. Then we can commentary, like for this video. I just bought a new camera and I don't know what this zoom feature does but I'll keep testing it to find out.
The 4k is a cool addition even though I still can't catch the ball very well. Pretty easy looking 33 but you still left several out there. The 52 degree on nine looked as though it was quite uphill which probably turned it into more like a 56; as least I would have played it that way. Bryson does so much internet stuff these days. Do you think that you two will ever have a match? Cheers.
I like the zoom. 1 bad hole. I would love to see you play quail ridge, its only a mile or two from TR. I would love to see you play in person. If you ever want to try QR hit me up. Me and my son would love to have your company on the course.
A great video AGAIN!! Love your commentary, i think you just don't need to talk as much as you do. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I like watching you golf and drinking in the ambiance of these courses. I mean just like during the shot, having a brief silence like you used to do in the (sound up) days.
Kyle, for one of the WLD events, would you be in favor... at least for a one-off, of doing a "combo" event where everyone plays a 9 hole stroke phase along with the normal long drive phase, and then crown a winner with the best combined score? (and don't ask me how to actually score it) It just seems that most of you on the WLD tour play excellent traditional golf as well. I know, for myself, it would be very intriguing to watch. Great video, as always, Kyle! Best of luck moving forward.👍
It would be awesome if you could do a playing video with Jamie Sidlowski, who made that transition from long drive to competitive golf. It would be fun to hear what he might have to share with you about how best to try to tackle that. Also, I liked the zoom ins on the approaches.
Watched Huntington, tight grid, looked like a claustrophobic set up. Just wanted to reach out, you’ll be fine champ. Looks like you were losing your angles a little. Driver face was pointed to the sky at the top, go back to that nice little angle, almost mirroring the angle of your left arm.
PLEASE PLAY ROYAL NEW KENT. Possibly crazier than TR because of the elevation changes, but same guy made both. It's simultaneously the hardest and most fun golf course I have played.
Love the zooms (obviously). That's our biggest problem with this sport the damn thing is so tiny its hard to see approach shots that don't have a dark background (trees/mountain etc). Not to advertise lol but I'm an editor if you ever get sick of doing this toss'er my way I can do the zooms for ya. I have a bunch of tricks in Premiere/After Effects that I use to make the ball appear easier even without zooming in. Hint: its just a combination of masking the sky, fooling around with highlights/blackness and sharpness.
Maybe you could do more of the golf round vlogs and looking to further improve your overall game. Tp be honest I'm not sure what else you can prove with long drive..
...just wondering why you do so few colab vids with other youtubers. That format seem to draw a ton of views... single player with voice over doesn't seem to do as well.
