Hi Jin. Thank you for your videos. They are always so helpful. I had a question about the bodice drafting, why is the back bodice higher when drafting? I've seen this in your mens blazer bodice too but I haven't come across an explanation for this. Perhaps I missed the tutorial that you explained this. Thanks
It's not 100%. It depends on the body shapes, I mean postures. But many times body front length is shorter than back length. And you bend toward front than back.
Hi Jin! I'm really enjoying all you videos. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge. I have a question please. Is it possible to make a larger side dart for larger cup size? I'm assuming the 1.25 inch dart is for a B cup. If it's possible to make a larger dart would 1.5 inch be enough for a C cup?
Hi Francesca, if you make a bodice block with almost no ease, then you can make 1.5" dart for C cup, but if you’re making tops with ease 1.25" or even 1" dart would be fine depending on how much ease you have at the chest. Does it make sense?
Hello Miss Jin.. I always watch your video and its really help m a lot.. I just wanna ask.. If i don't have a side dart.. So my front waist should be the same as back waist.. Am i right mis jin?? Thank you in advance
Thank you so much for you videos. Your explanation is always so clear and precise! Thank you. Can you please teach us how to draft a pattern for t shirt? Thank you!!
I think that the explanation is not to teach the PAD, so it should be on paper so that the beginner knows how to draw lines and the tools he should use
Hi, thank you for your comment! Yes, this is not a PAD tutorial video. And my videos are not for beginners. I make videos for fashion school students who want to become professional pattern makers. So I skip some basic explanations. I believe there so many great videos out there for beginners. Thank you 😊
