So happy to see you back! Brilliant restyling! Everything gets reorganized in quarantine, including the garden! The repainting of the walkway really freshened it up. And wow do I love that lotus fire vine. I'm going to look for that. It would be an annual here, but I would love it in a pot. The ferns and hackonechloa are going to be beautiful like wind and water movement.

Everything looks great(: You had a lot of courage to dig up and transplant those bushes and dig up all those irises! That’s a lot of backbreaking work...but that a dedicated gardener for ya. We get a vision of what we want and go for it. I really like how natural it looks. It’s very pleasing to the eye, and I’m sure you’re going to love how they fill in.

The ferns and hostas in the shaded area are pefect- I’ve got the sword ferns and painted ferns, and they offer so much colour and interest considering they don’t flower. You should check out brunnera macrophylla (‘jack frost') as a possible addition for that area- it has the cutest tiny blue flowers in spring, but the silvered leaves are the main draw- increasing in size into the autumn, they’re beautiful in the shade and every year it surprises me how they flourish there. In your pathway the Ligustrum Sinese impressed me the most, will definitely be looking to get some 😄👍🏻

The entrance is welcoming improvement. However, I also did love the old entrance, but you had to walk in a straight line down the center and keep at least six feet away from the plants, which is something we are becoming accustomed with in these days. Ouch..... sorry about the pot. I know that hurted, but the goog good thing, it broke into two large pieces which was repairable. You must have been first in line when talent was handed out. How about sharing some. Lol. I certainly enjoy your videos and get inspired, ( but I lack your talent.) Thank you for sharing.

I finally found out how to remove squirrels. We do have to trap then take them far away. They love bird food. We set up a bird feeder in our yard with a trap underneath. Inside the trap is a jar lid with bird food. When I leave the yard, I cover the bird feeder then the squirrels go into the trap. We have removed almost all. It takes some time, but so worth it. They were eating my fruit and produce.
