Do the last couple of screws you put in screw into the original front bumper of the vehicle, thereby damaging it? Or, do those screws only affect the lip you're installing? I ask because I'm leasing my MYP and don't want to cause any bumper damage I may have to pay for when I return the lease to Tesla. Thanks! Lip looks great.
It screws into a plastic cover. It doesn’t effect the performance or functionality. Also you could just use the tape. I put the screws for additional security
@@diannechristian1298 no, it’s like a double sided tape reinforced by the screws on the bottom. I would suggest heating it up before removal as a precaution. I had no issues with it.
@NathenMixon i guess what I'm trying to say is if I ever have to remove the lip because it got damaged or whatever. Will the 3m tape/glue damage my clear ppf on the car? Like Will it rip or make a hole to the clear ppf? Same thing goes with your car, will your wrap get damaged if you ever have to remove the lip? Thanks
@@diannechristian1298 ah. I have PPF wrap on my car and it was fine. I just had to clean because of dirty but it came off with a wash. I had another lip on prior to this one. I heated aka let it sit outside and took it right off. Washed it and it was never there. For an 8mm wrap, I’m not sure but I think it would be fine.
