Hi friends!
Happy Wednesday! In today’s video, I’m sharing how I styled my front porch for the Fall 2024 season! We’ll also be doing a very simple wreath DIY as well to add to my front door.

I would never try making a wreath, but love watching you create your magic. You are the best stem and floral designer I’ve ever seen, Sarah!! Sometimes when’m dealing with arranging faux stems and florals in vases, I say,” I need Sarah here, to help me.” I bought 3 real mums, but like you, they will most likely die. I was looking for faux ones. Your porch looks great.🤗🍂🍁

I love the wreath. It's beautiful but very simple, too. I love that huge crock with the mums in it with the other decor. I am all for fake flowers.. Some I just cant keep them long enough to meke them live. Your porch is so pretty and fall decor is spot on. ❤😊

I’ve seen some people just plant them since they’re a perennial but they wouldn’t last two weeks here 😅 even the evergreens struggle at times, such a battle!

I’m in Texas Sarah and only use faux mums. Growing up in Pennsylvania I always had live mums but learned very quickly that they do not do well here.

Such a bummer because they’re so pretty! Our climate here definitely can’t handle it at all 😅 the faux are proving to be worth it so far! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I really prefer the look of the real ones but it's just not worth fighting it anymore 😅 These look pretty good for faux in my opinion! He's so so friendly! Always saying hello!

Your wreath is so beautiful. You could add some bells & maybe some Christmas pine needles in place of the brown twigs & make it a Christmas wreath!

Thank you! I've seen some people hang their wreath on a hook and then hang a suction cup hook upside down on the bottom to help with wind!

Beautiful wreath, Sarah! I hear you about real mums! I bought a huge one for a pot that I have in front of the house....someone asked me if I thought it would last through Thanksgiving. I laughed and said, "ah, no!" They never last. I may take a look at the mums at HL for a backup! Here in the Midwest it''s 80 which is unheard of ....but if we get one frost, they are done.

I'm with you! Those darn mums are exasperating! The mold monster gets them every time no matter what I spray on them. I've spent so much money on mums its a better investment to buy faux ones. Love the natural look of your wreath. This year I am going more simplistic too. I saw a beautiful real pumpkin today. It was peach colored and I wanted it, but it was between buying that or food and the food won out😂

Everything you do is so beautiful! I’m so appreciative that you didn’t make the wreath ahead but showed us how you make it. I also like that you showed people that they didn’t need to cut their stems. This way everything is still reusable! I definitely need to look for twig stems! I’ve seen you use them in vases also and I love the extra texture they bring!

I love this wreath! I also hate cutting my stems! Oh this is not a big deal but I called those magnolia stems to another creator and they corrected me and said they’re maple stems. I looked at them and was like wow I have so many magnolia stems, how did I not see that. Lol!

Thank you so much! They're called Maple Stems on Michaels website but they look exactly like my other magnolia stems 😅 I'm calling them magnolias to make my life easier LOL
