Maynard frontstage, his voice, the guys from the other bands hanging around in the stage, Justin and Adam at opposite sides, and a decent video recordind of a Tool song for a change, this is all too awesome
I was thinking the same thing. When was the last time we saw Maynard at the front of the stage with Tool? Billy rocking out on the side. What a special event. Maynard really showcasing all of his bands and bringing them all together in the same universe.
I will forever feel shame for ejecting myself from a Tool show in 2018 or 19 when they played a metal festival in Chicago the night after System Of A Down. Between crowd shockwave knockovers and feeling crushed, I couldn’t even hear the music. I’ll call myself a wuss I guess but forget that, I’d take a further view with music immersion any day.
Maynard and Adam hugging feels especially satisfying knowing they've had their rough patches. If those two hadn't convinced each other to start a band in LA in the early 90's, we'd have none of this. No Tool, and by association no APC and likely no Puscifer. It feels symbolic. Love your brothers; work it out.
Sessanta is already one hell of a show line up...then you find out you are listening to Tool played by Tool. Excitement overload. What a treat! So cool.
@@dustinhotard9634Well he’s not gonna sound like he did 30+ years ago. He’s 60. All that screaming takes a toll on your voice. I first saw Tool in 2001 and MJK’s voice was phenomenal back then. He still sounds great but over time one’s voice will change. I’m just happy he’s still able to sing and thrill us still 🤘🤘
Very sweet to see. I know that Adam and Maynard had their little rough patch a while back, so it’s super cool to see them hugging it out on stage. They’re brothers and they love each other. I’m happy they’re still together killing it 🤘
i hope to hear more new music from them soon. we have another decade or two max with them and then all of our time on this plane will be over sooner than we realize. thank you all
Every Tool show I've seen Justin is on the right, Adam is on the left & Maynard is in back on the left next to Danny. Maynard in the front brings back 1990s Tool vibes.
From 1991 to about 2002 you could see Maynard. Now you have to look for him on stage 😂 Regardless of where each member is standing however, you’re in for quite a show 🤘🤘
@@shawnashape2909As soon as I hear ‘hey, hey, hey, hey - with the riffs to match … I would lose my shit, literally. I’ve been to hundreds of concerts, seen 1000s of bands, and no one is even close to the realm of T00L - except possibly APC and Puscifer- but honestly, you can’t have two without the other one ☝️ So, here we sit, waiting for APC or T00L to set up and PLUG IN!!
Tool members are spoiled with probably the most high tech live setups available when they tour. I bet they had to get a little used to playing like a normal band with less than perfect tech. Hahaha. But that in and of itself makes this even cooler!
I was thinking the same thing. I saw Tool a few months ago and the sound was SIKKK omg. I will say however, that I love how normal they sound here. No crazy set ups, mega monster drum kit and of course the spectacular visuals. Very cool 🤘
My brother and I just saw Tool in Fresno a couple months ago, and I tried to get tickets to a Sessanta concert but the dang thing sold out in about 3 minutes. Thanks for uploading this! I would have freakin' died at this concert...
I was at that Fresno concert. Took my younger brother and my 60 year old mom. She leaned over mid way through the concert and said … “Son, I’m thoroughly fucking enjoying this.” 😂❤🎉
We were at the Fresno show! Since the show, my boyfriend has been saying that he wants to see TOOL again. And what a fucking surprise when I see Adam the screen! I bought our tickets the day the went on sale. I couldn’t pass. What a beautiful experience. 🥹
I was two rows behind you. Did you see the dude, about 6'14", equally wide, with a Sturgess shirt on? My wife and I were right behind him. My recording was 90% Sturgess guy. That was an absolutely awesome show. I had actually hinted to my friend that we might see all of Tool at the show, but I didn't think they would actually play. Original lineup of APC, Paz, surprise Tool, stage antics, my first show at the Bowl...unbelievable concert.
Billy setting Adam's guitar up. That was fitting. Billy was pretty awesome too. Carina singing along with Tool. Herb and Gunnar racing stair-lifts. Les being weird. Danny on Josh Freese's little kit. The ping-pong. The format of the show was pretty sweet too. Rotating through 3 songs each while the others played ping pong and goofed off on the couches. No down time between songs. Al four bands just killed it in every regard.
nice seat. thanks for sharing. i was a N.Y. block behind you. ...can hear me yell JUSTIN @0:05, @0:07 & @0:20 was not expecting to see TOOL & was so excited. looking back, though, it only makes sense.
@@traceybee1409Nah. He just adopted a different persona for Tool. He didn't want to be half naked and painted blue in his 40s and 50s, I totally get that, so he crept into the shadows. He stands up front for Puscifer... He should realize we don't expect him to act like Rev. Maynard or to put on a bra and panties... We just wanna see him emote naturally up front. Like he's doing here...
@BudTheBandTX sorry I'm not OGT like you bro... If you really believe the bullshit you said about the amps... Talk to an actual musician. Tool is the only band so powerful their singer can't stand up front!! Prime example of why Tool fans are considered dipshits
@@GRYNGE7 Maynard has gone on record saying he stays in the back because he its difficult to mix for. Its really that simple. They're perfectionists for their mix.
They ALWAYS ‘Sound like (Better) than the Album. That’s what separates T00L from everything else- master musicians that really make it look SO easy …. And it’s anything BUT easy. Especially the time signatures etc. of T00L.
well thank you so very much, Jared Smith for this front row GIFT!! I watched a vid of this same song yesterday but from a diff view. I like front row way better, obvi. Thanks again for sharing with the rest of the class
Learn to swim!!! See you in Arizona Bay!!! Damn 15+ years later and this songs still kicks ass!!! When I first listened to this album, with Stinkfist, and countless other's....I was blown away when reading the lyrics and understanding what each song is actually about. This band is and has always been on a whole nother level!
