Here's my thinking about Fuku and Sarang getting those parts in their final performance: the producers wanted to see how they handle those roles for an entire week since they are watching the house during that time. The producers also know the main vocals are going to be Jiyoon and Jungeun. The sub vocals are going to be Jeemin and either Saebi/Sarang. They're going to let Koko handle the rap but they don't want to rely only on Koko and the producers don't want Yuju in the group. So for the final performance, they wanted to see if they could give some rap lines to Sarang or Fuku in songs, and Sarang seemed to handle the task but Fuku struggled. Once it was clear that Jiyoon and Jungeun were in the group, unfortunately I knew Fuku would not make the group even though I wanted her more than anyone to make the group (I tend to root for the older contestants because these shows may well be their last chance ever).
Fuko wouldn't be a PD picks because she got lesser star aura than Mai and Saebi. You guys vocal and talent stans should've voted for her back then if you want her to debut, instead of going all out voting for Jungeun where she got like 300k votes more than Jeemin. An extra 50k votes for Fuko is more than enough to make her debut and possibly eliminating Sarang. I don't like how people discrediting both Sarang and Mai for debuting while they didn't give enough votes for Fuko. I love Fuko but the PD obviously won't pick another main vocalist to debut while they have Jungeun and Jiyoon and instead need that strong stan attractor like Mai and Saebi.

It seems like not all the producers agree with the PD choice lol. Like daddy 24 didn't even bother to hide his emotion when Mai's name was called lmao. He even gave her a shady congratulation "you're selected just because you're pretty".

Lame… they could’ve added so many other things that would’ve got people saying “ahh, that’s why she debuted” but saying “you’re pretty” and it’s like… did she just debut because she’s pretty despite her not having that much talent compared to the 3 who didn’t debut?
That's not true 24 has praised mai many times back in show. So i dont he didn't liked that she debuted. He just has that expression that's all. Plus he said mai needs improvement but she has improved alot. It's not visual why she is debuted and teayong said that for him off stage personality matters alot. It's not she is not talented at all. She Will do great

"Mai and sarang are just visuals" like what? Are your picks that ugly? Cracked performances won't make sarang lesser talented than the others except for jiyoon and jungeun. Her vocals are unique, her presence is on par with saebi. Mai on the other hand improved her vocals, she knows what her flaws were, she changed her nasal technique when needed, she blended well in every concept so well
Anyone notice how Jungeun and Jiyoon were sitting so close but the footage shown to us was more like they avoid eachother and can't even be near 1cm to eachother but they show this clip of Sujung tearing Juyoonz storyline?
the show must've gone not like most of us wanted, I was sad for Fuko not being selected, but come on some of you're judgements are childish and illogical. Not the world circles around your wish girl. If you have to criticise then make some proper constructive arguments atleast with around 12k subscribers. 1 hour crappy opinions th!!!
For me Sarang is talented but the thing is that she doesn't have one skill that really stands out. Jiyoon and Jungeun have vocals, Jeemin, Saebi and Mai sp, Koko rap and dancing, and Sarang is pretty good at everything but there's always someone better than her and people tend to stick to the contestants that have a special ability rather than someone who doesn't
sarang is a good balance of sp, rap, vocal, and dance. she's an all-arounder and she has this charm that makes a lot of people drawn to her... she was my least fave before but she has now become my bias wrecker
I think the show itself gave a lot of chance to Fuko, a lot of people also thought that Yui did better than Fuko on Iwaly but the PDs saved her knowing that her votes weren't that high. She was very consistent and she had quite a bit of screen time on the show and she had a good character edit the helpful, friendly one maybe except for the Into the new world part. Fuko had to depend on her votes during the imate support and save vote her votes weren't high. Unfortunately I think she didn't amass as much fans as we thought even though she got exposure from Girls Planet. The show was also generous enough to make it 5 imate choise 1 pd choice + 1 more pd choice. but her votes just didn't get her there. even if it wasnt PD choice she ranked 8th. Hopefully we see her somewhere she's talented but given the Korean standards she's getting quite old to debut ...
Fuko is a really good vocalist and dancer, but i think there wasn't anything different from what she was already doing. I think her style is kind of limited much like Gyuri. People wanted to see change in Part 2. which happened with Jeemin and Jiyoon, they changed a lot from part 1. which ended up being really good for them. And considering this is going to be a girl group under the black label, the producers prob wanted people that were well rounded in either cute or girl crush genre.
And honestly it was ultimately up to the fans to choose the top 5 contestants. Even Saebi who was shown quite a lot in the final episode and had a center position got out voted by Sarang. So it seems like Fuko was not able to gain enough supporters till the very last.
i think the end rlly got me tbh how they gave the pd's all the choices for who gets to do what song/part like I was kinda sad we never got to see them choose what they want BUTTTT I know that it was mainly a pd pick type of show and they did it do figure out who works for what concept blah blah. idk I wish they showed more of the producers talking about their choices ESPEICALLY AT THE END WHERE THEY RANKED THEM AND GAVE NO FEEDBACK (that we got to see on the show). i wish they were more transparent about how they ranked each contestant especially since there were only 12/10 in the end so it wouldn't have been that hard????? also I'm kinda sad they never made a iland2 piano version of iwaly or fls like they do w their shows lolz
The whole jiyoon and Jungeun drama was mostly jiyoons fault honestly.(I LOVE JIYOON JUST LISTEN MY SIDE GUYS) Also she heard jungeun calling her that day still she ignored her. Also her being mad at junguen but not at fuko even tho fuko didn't vote for her? Also her attitude wasn't write there that's why nobody voted for her. . Teayong has said when he used get parts he didn't liked he used to just try hard to be good at whatever he got cuz he knows him being sad or angry is going to disturb whole groups chemistry.
@@neisgevauqjjq9558 it was indeed jiyoons fault but jiyoon literally said she didnt hear jungeun call out to her, neither did i as a viewer with everyone talking and crying i didnt even notice she called her until they made the edit dramatic and had to replay it. The difference with fuko and jungeun not voting for jiyoon was more on the friendship they already had before and it was like having someone closest to you not take your side and thats where she felt betrayed. i’m not saying that jungeun shouldve voted for jiyoon but that was what happened thats what she said she felt in the episodes shown
agree, it was 100% jiyoon's fault and hence i was glad when she apologised to jungeun first. but well, i guess as they were in a survival show, they were all stressed and anxious and jiyoon might not have managed her emotions well. thankfully she realised her mistake(s)
Tbh I think they (Jungeun and Jiyoon) were instructed to play up their feud for part 2, as they already made up with each other after part 1 lol (they were seen holding hands). The clips of Jungeun and Jiyoon confessing their feelings to Fuko were also from part 1.
We write "i-land2 n/a" and read as "Saving Jeong-eun". Jung-eun's vote absorbed too much of the votes of lower-ranked applicants, including Huko. People voted for her with antipathy, saying that the producers were unfair to her and that Koreans did not like her. As a result, Huko was forgotten, and she was eliminated in the final 8th place and had to cry so sadly.
The only thing lacking in this show is the judges should be a Choreographer, Vocal Trainer or Singer, and Rapper not producers. This is the only pros of the produce series and Planet 999. Btw IWALY is the best song of the show thank you VVN not the sounds plagiarized Final love song.
Let's think about the fate of Huko, Jiyoon, and Jeongeun. At first, Ji-yoon was depressed and lethargic after giving up the song to Huko, and was criticized by the producers and had to cry bitterly. And Ji-yoon was upset because she felt betrayed by Jung-eun, who did not vote for her, and viewers severely criticized and cursed Ji-yoon. Huko tried to reconcile those two people, and eventually they did. Ironically, however, in the final episode, Jung-eun's vote absorbed Huko's, and eventually, Huko was eliminated, so he had to cry so sadly.

the remaining contestants deserve to debut no less than anyone but not everyone can make it through and it depend on the fans. Sarang after being main vocal, main dancer, center and even main rapper? I agree that Fuko deserved to debut, but Sarang is not any different, she deserves it as izna's all-rounder
I don't like the name at all but so many seem to be fine with it so i haven't complained. This is the first time i've commented about it anywhere. Saebi: I think too many people just assumed she'd make the group so that is why I guess she finished 6th in voting.
i’m not afraid to say that i find sarang lacking in comparison to fuko. i don’t think sarang isn’t worthy of debuting, i just don’t think she should’ve debuted in this group specifically. she always looked nervous on stage and her vocals were shaky, fuko in comparison did much better than her in that regard. to be frank, i don’t wish ill in sarang or the group, i just think it would’ve been preferable to have fuko in the group with them to have more vocal stability.
Sarang is a true all rounder unlike Fuko though. Her sp, dancing, and vocals are on par or even better than Fuko PLUS she has the idol aura which radiates whenever she is on the stage. Izna has vocalists such as Jungeun, Jiyoon as well as Sarang to cover all the vocals already. In my opinion, even if Fuko debuted she wouldn't bring anything new to the table. Sure, you might say Sarang cracked her voice numerous times while singing but it doesn't erase the fact that she has good vocals.
Vocal AND Team stability. Fuko helped the mediation between Jungeun and Jiyoon too. For 7 year group, tgus kind of person is really important as glue for keeping the team together
@@mori5313 i wouldn’t say she has bad vocals, in fact i enjoy her lower register A LOT, however it simply isn’t consistent or stable in comparison to fuko. i still stand behind the fact that her stage presence is lacking. she always looks nervous to me and i do hope that being chosen to debut helps her confidence in stage when performing.
