Yes😩😩 what I’m going through now and from what I was told a few months ago after getting almost $1000 of work done is it could be my struts and that could cost $4-$500🙄🤦🏿♀️ makes me think I could have got that in the first place and would have been good smh
I learned it's not always just the strut. It can also be an indicator of bad lower control arms. My 2011 Ford Escape had a ball joint, CV joint and bushings changed, but my mechanic caught the blown struts and lower control arms.
I love how I'm looking though RU-vid to find out what the problem is with my car, and find that most of the symptoms literally f*$&$^ sound the same😂 Good thing it doesn't sound like this💀
The midwestbuddy you're confused that's how the entire you continental United States is they don't use our taxes for infrastructure. We've had pillars for a high-speed railroad sitting in the middle of fields for over a decade in California. They haven't done s***
@ZhmiKnopa I checked with my mechanic... I think the strutts were faulty. It happens whenever I drive for more than 15min. If I park to take a break, it will occur once again after 15min of driving. I'm thinking the pneumatic in the suspension assembly is faulty and the creaky noise is the spring suspension... my mechanic also agrees and thinks the suspension replacement is "crappy" (American suspension for a South Korean car 😅)
Bad cv axle clunks bad while turning at certain low speeds. Then if it keeps wearing, it's going to clank more and there will probably be high speed vibration.
Dude my car sounds like this bad. It’s a 2009 Nissan Sentra so it’s funny this popped up and I didn’t even search a make or model. It started with popping or clicking only when I turned but today I heard it the whole way to work. Like scraping and popping. Car has 240k miles. Wondering if I should repair that or get another car.
@@DSPNWtoCali well i changed the struts and the sound continues for me. Had also changed the ball joints, and sway bar links before. I think the last option is the sway bar bushings man
@@betotrevino173 I just did my van with a new strut assembly up front. With new sway bar end links as well, with new sway bar bushings. After the install, it made a bad noise, now similar to the video. What I did was re-tightening the sway bar end links. Which got the noise to a minimum but there was still a bumpy noise though. I might do my tie rod end links, but have to wait on this stupid hot weather to pass. Once I get this done, rotate my tires(front to back and back to front) or buy 2 new front tires and then get an alignment done. Hopefully this will minimize the noise. Yes I know, should have done the alignment after the struts. But good luck with yours.
Just messed up my front left strut on my car today, does the same wobble wobble but its not as bad as this came to get confirmation its the struts lol, I can see the front left is broken or warped somewhere
Thanks man for uploading this I just bought a nissan making the same noise replaced my cv and it still makes noise that just confirming the strut is my problem
So what you’re saying is you’ve somehow unlocked Pandora’s box? It was all riding somewhat decent when it was all jacked up but now that you’ve fixed the CV axle it’s brought something else to light lol. Hate it when that shit happens. Yes, it will get louder and worse with time man. You having any wheel shake when driving/stopping? Does it get worse as you go faster? Just curious brother. What kind of car?
LOL. I got a screw in in the outer tread of a fairly new tire. Had to replace it because they wouldn't plug that area. Couple weeks later I start hearing a slight hum I thought was just the new tire road noise setting in from different wear. Well 6 months later I stopped at a red light and thought to myself. Man you can really hear yourself think now. And damn the radio was on? In a nutshell. The radio trick almost had me drive until the wheel fell off cause the rear wheel bearing was smoked.
@@menehuneben dude I need help… I am so confused. My noises are similar and worse I’m going to replace the sway bar links and here’s where I’m lost does the 03 Elantra have shocks or struts I can’t find a direct fricken answer and I don’t mean to sound stupid but I have no clue what I’m doing just learning and I’m having trouble getting the answer
Bro literally your Sentras are cooked I got mine sounding good for one day now every time I turn it pops and I’ve replaced like everything rides nice just pops when brakes and turning at low speed
Maybe Sway bar or in links had the same problem after changing my struts changed the sway bar on driver side no noise but still got noise on passenger so I’m guessing its that
I live outside the small town, 1 mile unpaved road, My cars always get bad. I've been replacing wheel bearings, front&rear suspension, tires, Daaamn Im gettin' tired of this shit...Cars never keep clean😂all dusted at all time😅
