Great video, just what I need to tackle my VZ Marauder, the amount of lip available to hit with the steel bar had me worried but it’s about the same as what you had to work with.
Mine dosent have any play in it. Took break and speedo off, and when i rotate it, it makes a thump at times. At first it was sounding like a cable was lose around the front wheel. At times sound goes away but comes back. Ill check bearings hopefully that does the trick.
hvy bikes make no bad sounds or tell tells.. u need check once yr.. .... Trick : place rim in full sun or hot car -for like 2 hr... also... freeze bearings over night! it will slide together easier. ..remeber.. many small taps around the bearing is best/ not hard blows... i use 3 to 5 lbs hammer backwards and hit with the wood end! once it flush.. use a correct size socket..or in pinch.. screwdriver .. and many time around .. light taps so as to not hurt rim..
