So looking forward to watching Rebecca process all your lovely homegrown produce! I think this is her year to be the homestead rock star! ❤ And she couldn't do it without the rest of the family!!
Do you have some different kinds of swings around on the farm? That’s how I kept grumpy children occupied when working . I even had one in the stables so she would be safe on the swing while I dealt with our pretty dangerous race horses. I’d put up tyre swings and other swings in different spots 😊
Your little one is a problem solver , he saw momma getting away and immediately figured out the only way to catch up is for him to find a faster method 😂
Yes, she has an autoimmune disease called Hashimoto. It's when the body makes antibodies that attack the cells in the thyroid. No cure, medication manages it.
Baby turkeys need a good shelter completely weather proof in my experience I only ever had 3 started as day olds they needed heat longer then chicken the they’re stupid and not as Hardy as a chicken only one I lost was the one I put in my belly was delicious still got the other two they’re like 4 or so years old now they also make a good guard they keep all the eagles away to and protects my ducks and chickens all are free range and locked up at night
I saw a great way to preserve squash and make it into squash flour with the freeze drier. rebbecca may want to check it out. its on Shepparding peppers farm, really creative use of zuchinni squash.
The new and improved 'pretty shaw' design is totally awesome. However if I may say ...I would do it with another color other than white fearing the chicken poo would quickly become uhh polka dotted brown and ugly. 😅 Maybe a pretty shade of green with a sky blue roof (that might help it from getting so hot in the summer?) Just a thought.
Rebecca Needs to get a doctor to look at the size of her thyroid gland. i know she has thyroid issues but a hoarse voice like that can be a sign of swelling or a goitre. if she starts having issues sleeping increase in snoring or a hard time swallowing solid foods you must seek a doctor to at least do a ultra sound.. i say this as a thyroid warrior. get checked now catch it small will make all the difference later. its easy to explain symptoms away. please dont
Justin be careful dropping us. We are not spring chickens 😂😂...I couldn't resist. God bless you guys. Love your channel. Im behind on videos. I lost my daughter last Aug. Im raising my grandsons and now my husband is diagnosed with cancer...So my life is upside down. But God's is faithful. Your channel is a blessing. ❤
Thank you for that much needed laugh. You sound like a blessing to your family💖 God's got you (speaking from a place of knowing where you are at in life, I have a had similar experiences, HE is my strength!)
Oh, so sorry to hear, may God give you strenght and comfort! Wisdom to be able to help your husband and raise your grandchild! Make sure you take care of yourself and hang onto God! Blessings and hugs!
@@camicri4263 Thank you so much. I have to hang on to God. He is what pulls me through. The grief process is hard especially when it's your child. God bless you ❤️
Lily shoule not hold a glass dish with one hand over a pot while trying to dislodge the cold "set" contents. Put it in the microwave for a minute and let it sit while cooking the onions, etc. Will fall right out once the fat is somewhat warmed.
I ruined an entire meal this way😮 Not sure if it was cold shock or the smacking of the glass dish on metal pan, maybe the combo, either way glass ended up in the pan and ruined the meal🫤
I been disappointed with my freeze dryer only year and half having buy mother board. Also have pay $45 each time you need help over phone for technical support.
I like the old pretty shaw better boy Gideon's getting bigger and he's doing such a great job I'm proud of him you must be proud of all your children they're doing great
Probably because her children and husband are also very well versed in the art of cooking. Who says it always has to be the mom? Why would this even bother you?
@@kathleenoverton3263 There is 7 people in that household and they all take turns cooking I would hope. Plus Rebecca has a lot of other responsibilities other than just the traditional cooking. Silly comment don't ya think?
Raised on a farm with 5 girls, we took turns doing everything including Dad & Mom. Everyone knew how to do everything and we all chipped in. Very important so every task is possible and not dependent on one person. The future families these kids may have and raise will be very self sufficient and productive! Also everyone understands what efforts go into a task and they appreciate each other's strengths.
