It would have been useful to include the costs & how it was funded. There are long stretches of coastline , on the Isle of Wight for instance that appear to have been left to disappear. It would be good to understand whether these decisions are due to funding constraints.
I would assume it would have been grossly overpriced, with the contract probably going to an acquaintance of someone in the council with some kickbacks. All at the taxpayers expense.
