this was made 3 years ago but now closures can be 5x5 sized or “free part” which just means that you can part it anyway you want. but 3 years ago when it wasn’t a 5x5 out yea you could’ve only parted it one way
Hi I'm a beginner now but I know I'm about to invest in a frontal cuz looking at your video I can understand a little bit more better that I need a front to I can't wait until I get my first front two thank you and I will be having a lot of questions he said I can ask you you are my fairy hair godmother I will hold you up to that okay let me finish watching the video so I can understand everything that you saying so when I go to the beauty supply store I know exactly what I'm getting for a beginning like my self ?
k so first off you look beautiful... I only wear middle parts so w. all the frontals i’ve bought that’s the only style I wear i’m so glad I found this closure wig 22’’ $77 dollars because i’ve wasted over $500 on frontal wigs . frontals sre just absolutely to much to manage especially if you’re always on the go and sweaty like me... from got2b to ghostbond etc nothing works i’m over it !!!
So which would you recommend for an athlete?? I play basketball, softball, and tennis and I need to be able to pull it back into a ponytail or bun without everyone seeing that I’m obviously wearing weave...
I would definitely go with a closure in that case, just because it will be easier for you to maintain. The frontal needs to be secured down across your hairline for the illusion that it's growing from your scalp...one drop of sweat or goodness forbid you snatch that helmet off too fast and the illusion is over 😩! With a closure you can just put clips in the sides & even sew the back down so you can feel more comfortable pulling it into a ponytail while your active, no adhesive needed :)
Thank you for this video. It was very insightful and provided me with a clear understanding of closure vs frontal. I’ll be able to make an informed decision now regarding the type of wig I want.
Hi Alanna. I live in Atlanta, GA and I have been looking for an alternative to protect my hair. I have been viewing several of your videos on RU-vid and trust your judgment. I am a retired school teacher, gone back to work to make ends meet. My "born with hair" is now gray, and about 14 inches long. I am natural and I occasionally style with a flat iron. I love the idea of the frontal lace wig as an alternative for protection and need direction in starting this phase with my hair. I don't mind gray hair and would prefer that my wig is that color. Can you make suggestions for how I should get started?
Hello I have my hair shaved on one side. I was thinking about getting a frontal because I want an updo. What do you think and can you inbox me some of your prices for the frontals.
I will be making a wig. I want it natural looking versatile and easy to maintain. Will be wearing it daily and the pattern is body wave. Would u recommend a closure or frontal? Thanks in advance.
@@Just_Shanice Yeah, it is expensive... I guess it really just depends on the person though too. What they're looking for, what they're willing to settle for and what they see as a necessity.
I’ve never had weave (I.e. anything sown in my head) but I’m considering gettin one for my 25th birthday next year. I already identified a stylist and I’m considering getting some weave with a leave out because I personally hardly find frontals that look real (everyone has the same fake baby hair) . I’m 100% natural and work out twice a week at least, I’m scared my leave out will fail me but I’m also not sure if a frontal that lasts two weeks only is worth the money either. What happens after the two weeks? Can you get it reapplies? I really only need it for my birthday weekend but I would be spending lots of money so i would hope it can last awhile. Help?!
The leave out is really tricky! You have to know your hair, do you press it often. It should stay straight when you press it with heat protectant at home, tie it up before working out, and don't let it get wet! I recommend that you get comfortable with wearing a weave first before doing a frontal, they require SO much more maintenance. A closure could work if you're really worried about the leave out matching and blending.
So is yours a frontal wig? I've been wanting to get a weave as I have an Afro that is ruined from straightening it but i want something that I can style differently if I want to but also that will last long term
Yes, a lace frontal wig. I think that one would be best for you. That way you don't need to worry about straightening your real hair to blend with any leave out. Go for it! You can always message me if you need more help/ advice :)
Yes and no...in general a "closure" can be anything you use to close up a wig. In the industry today when you hear "closure" it's most commonly referring to the 4x4 lace hair attachment and the "frontal" is referring to the 13x4. I hope this helps?
Can I swim with a lace closure on, whether it’s beach or pool? Hope you get to see this question, before I get a sew-in installed...and will greatly appreciate your response. Thanks!
